Whaaat? Oh, I completely missed that! Thank you!

Could someone help me understand? Where did Ling Zhi come from? In the drama they say she is Fu Yun Xi's daughter but then in episode 17 it shows that his wife died on their wedding night before they got together, so she could not have been the one who gave birth to Ling Zhi. Fu Yun Xi had the funeral for his wife but he already had Ling Zhi as a baby girl at that time. So who's daughter is she, where did she come from? Did he already have a previous marriage before marrying the lady who got poisoned on their wedding night?

I wish they would stop using the zombie horse in dramas! The fake horse that an actress or an actor sits on, and it rocks back and forth and you can tell that it's not real horse riding by the ridiculous pacing of them swaying on top of the fake horse. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is when the camera goes low enough to show the "horses" face, and that's when you see them... the horrifying dead zombie eyes! Creepy stuff, and makes every scene with this fake horse riding really embarrassing. This isn't the only drama where they've used these horrid creatures, but please, let it be the last! And the fake horses were not the only fake animals, then there were the pathetic fake wolves and a fake tiger etc... When will someone step up and fix these horrid things from C- dramas?!! Please! Somebody!

I love that they did a good job with every single character in this drama instead of just having focused on ML and FL and not perfecting the other roles. Now it feels so rich and full, when every single actor and actress is delivering their best here. Enjoying Yang Yan so much, Li Yu Chun, Lord Wei, Princess Huaiqing etc etc.

To get to look into his eyes that close! Wow!

Okay, my sense of humor might be a bit dark, but so far (6 episodes in) the most hilarious scene for me that got me howling from laughter was when Xu Xin Nian was hanging in the tree and the whole family just stood there staring and then ran to him to try to help, the whole chaos was perfect, and then the neighbours at the door "Is everything okay, I heard a bump?" And the little baby sister that they forgot behind the door and the dude lifts her up and the mom goes "Just put her down"... It was brilliant! My favorite scene so far! And how it started with Xu Xin Nian releasing the chickens into freedom!

I don't get it. Care to share?

Some haters rate it low on purpose; then some will watch 1 or 2 episodes and say "Oh, I don't like this" or "I don't like Wang He Di" and give a low rating. Later when we get closer to the end of the drama, and especially when the drama has ended and people give their final ratings we will see the real ratings, it could go up or down, depending on whether the drama can keep this level up all the way through the drama or if it starts to go downhill. My guess is the ratings should be pretty good at the end, over 8.0. Don't worry about the initial rating, it will change.
