Yes, I agree with a lot of you that the storyline, plot, writing was wack, but in the end I'm still giving this drama a gold star. The leads chemistry was off the charts, the OST and cinematography was stunning. Plus the comedic writing and acting was on point with the leads. I loved their banter- probably some of the best I've seen in awhile.
Only 2 more episodes to go... this was seriously a rollercoaster of a drama but I would not have it any other way. It's their on screen chemistry that keeps me glued to this story.
It's my kinda rom com genre mixed with the fantasy and thriller elements, like the drama Link: eat, love kill. It so reminds me of Secretary Kim with all of the pushing of the chair at work (classic PSJ) but Rowoon's chemistry with JBA is extra, it's non verbal. Both leads are super funny which is nice bc you don't see too many FL's with that can do the physical humor. Plus both of these leads have such beautiful facial expressions, they don't need to say anything to the camera.
Man. all you need is a night time bridge scene with some fireworks and a gorgeous OST with a haunting female voice singing and a ML saying I love you... there, you've created a classic romance Kdrama scene that will go down in history
Solid 7/10 for me. It started very strong with me with the Hunter Liar plot. Then the middle fizzled, then end I was just getting irritated and bored. Loved the leads visually, but their chemistry and acting just made me sleepy, in fact I did fall asleep. At the end I just wasn't engaged. The butterflies never showed up for me, sorry.
Hong-Jo, get a grip! When someone tells you with longingly puppy dog eyes for the longest time that they are a mess and they cant control themselves when you are around them- he's a keeper! 😂🤣
I kinda wished the drama stuck to the FL's ability to seek out lies and her clients and their stories. That what reeled me in at the beginning. The ML's acting ability is not strong enough, I feel the 2ML should have been casted as the ML. Just my 2 cents here.
