There are no plans for the 3rd release. Drama originally had 60 episodes but due the changes of law in China they had to split it into two parts and broadcast part 2 about a year later.

He’s been really busy since 2020, I also think that his acting skills improved over time. I would only wish to hear his own voice in all of the dramas, but I know it’s been a matter of his fully packed schedule for why it’s not a case for TPR.

His popularity is increasing without a doubt, considering that he’s not after any acting school and his first drama was in 2020, he’s been already doing very well. I just want him to get the proper recognition and roles in a good moment, so his career could progress giving him more opportunities and ambitious roles. I don’t want him to end up in eyes of the people producing dramas as a pretty face which is giving them profit. That would be such a waste of potential.
I’ve heard he’s not that widely recognized in China compared to Wu Lei, Wang Hedi or Gong Jun. Not mentioning Yang Yang, Xiao Zhan or Cheng Yi. Actors popular outside of China don’t necessarily get that much of attention in their homeland.
Maybe someone has more knowledge on the topic, then please, share your thoughts, I’m curious how popular ZLH really is in China.

Thoughts on Li Rong, Pei Wenxuan and Su Rongqing after episode 8 (spoilers below):
Li Rong What summarizes her the best is that scene when PWX called her out for acting like a princess and her reaction was „Yeah, I am the princess”. Her bigger problem is that she’s completely detached from the reality. She was born privileged so it may be hard for her to understand other people’s motivations. Best example? When she thought that she was saving SRQ’s life making him eunuch. She even expected that he’s going to be grateful for that (how surprised she was when found out he’s probably behind her death). Girl, this men would probably prefer to die with his whole family instead of experiencing endless humiliation of becoming your emasculated mascot. I bet he stayed alive only for revenge.
Pei Wen Xuan I feel like he’s a character we don’t know much about yet. He is a silver tongue, makes jokes around but also has strong need of justice and is smart as hell. Despite being talkative, I find him pretty secretive with his personal feelings and the confession in the last episode gave us a little bit insight into his personality. He said he didn’t want to fall for her because that would mean that he’s subjecting to her and the royalty. Very straightforward way of expressing what he thinks about the palace. What we also know is that his feelings towards LR were genuine, he chose to become distant.
Su Rong Qing There are 3 options for this man I was thinking about: 1. He woke up 20 earlier the same way ML and FL did and he’s now plotting to save his family and to revenge. 2. He’s been shady from the beginning, it’s just this time FL met him earlier. 3. He’s all innocent, really falling in love with FL, he became vengeful later on because of what happened to his family. His past version went through a lot, I don’t dare to judge him (yet!) for what he’s done to LR and PWX. Of course, we don’t have an official confirmation it was him, but let’s assume this scenario for now.
