exactly! fangirls are like, don't say anything about her. these keyboard warriors get offended on behalf of actors and I find it so funny. This is why I don't respond to blind fans. They are the ones who hurt their fav actor, it's criticism that'll improve the person not cheerleading.

If u only want good feedback then go to a fansite and dance over there. I don't even spare my fav actors, rest shouldn't expect me to fawn over.

I've been watching c-dramas for the last 3 years but bad acting and baby voiced FLs is something I can't get used to. I will not lower by expectations even for my fav actors, they are paid to do the job. So better learn it off camera instead of using dramas as acting school.

Exactly! Ryan is not the best out there but even in front of him she looked weak. This is why I normally don't post my views on MDL coz fangirls will pounce but sometimes one just can't... The moment I encounter a blind fan, I stop engaging. Far better things to do in life lol

Tolerating this only for Richard. The FL can't act and the dubbing artist makes her sound like a 5yr old which is very disturbing. Richard needs to bag better and bigger roles in good productions.

There are good c-dramas where grown up women talk and behave like a grown up woman should. So do not miss them, also there are very good chinese actresses so not everyone is bad.

Bad actors should go back to school and learn and only then get lead roles but we know how it works...

Yea there are blind fans who think their favorite is perfect and can't digest any criticism. All they can do is shout hater and run away lol

I'm on ep 36 and sadly she still keeps pouting with the same voice. I know as usual it's the same child voice artist coz no normal grown up talks like that.

The acting of the actress improved a bit in these later episodes but such girls get cast coz of their face. It is even more evident when it's Ryan she is acting with! A better actress would have done wonders...

oh no! I haven't even started 'only friends'. I've decided to start any drama once all episodes drop.

I started a c-drama 'love you seven times' coz of Ding but the story feels weak and the actress is the weakest. Her voice n body language is so childish. Many c-dramas have this problem with their FLs, but fans claim it's to show a FL is so innocent and I'm like wonder why other countries don't make grown up women walk n talk like a baby -_- lol

I also watched 'red, white & royal blue'. It's not the best but much better than thai BLs we're getting recently. You might like it...

It's not a normal voice, add it to the body language and it becomes childish. Her acting makes it even worse.

If only there was a feature where the audio would mute every time the baby voiced FL would open her mouth.

I started watching BLs coz of thai ones and I'll give them credit for showing other countries that this is a huge market.
When I watched Untamed I was sure china would defeat everyone coz they have such high quality and good actors but I forgot that this is china we are talking about.
Then arrived KP and I thought now thai BLs will seldom create bad BLs but I was disappointed once again. Korea needs to create long form BLs coz they can do it.
After watching Heartstopper, I can't digest bad BLs even more. But I know most fans(girls) will accept crap as long as the drama has gud looking guys kissing each other lol
