many people are praising the novel and i’d start reading it soon. i love Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei, have seen their reuters for these past months and they look so great together! since it’s from tencent, we’ll probably see it in Q2/Q3 of 2025 but hopefully we don’t need to wait until the end of 2025 🥲

no, she doesn’t mean to her at all and is actually very supportive to their relationship! it’s kinda spoiler and honestly it’s better if you watch it by yourself.

her best work is Wonderland of Love indeed and it’s her first project as screenwriter. reflecting on her past projects, she could make a strong FL and ML characters with a good relationship, so why she couldn’t do that for her past projects?

after finishing WOL i thought i could watch another dramas written by her, but sadly none 🥲

this drama is not everyone’s cup of tea, some people might find it boring, but for me i didn’t find any single boring moments at all. i love the relationship between the leads, their conversation, and how their dynamic with supporting characters.

me too. usually when watching a drama, i just wanna feel warm, happy, and content. this drama gives me the exact feelings.

i share the same feelings. i think so far this kind of drama is not something that you’ll see in kdramaland (especially for recent ones), even their romcom dramas are not essentially “romcom”.

meanwhile cdrama offers some good amount of romance dramas without evil characters or less conflict, and solely focusing on the main leads. each year, at least they’ll produce a really good 1-2 romance dramas without heavy conflict. this year AASOL won my heart.

i think some people are still not used this type of drama; no heavy conflict, focusing solely on the main leads, no unnecessary drama, no love triangle, etc.

when i finished Love Me Love My Voice back then, i was thinking that the drama gave me some newfound feelings. especially because the drama doesn’t have any negative characters.

and then this drama came out a few months after, adapted from a novel written by the same author of LMLMV. it gives me some similar vibes, yet also different in so many aspects.

this drama has a really good dynamic between all characters, probably the best among the dramas that i’ve seen for over a decade. from the main leads to supporting characters, the production really knows what they’re doing when choosing which actor would be the best for each role. i can’t imagine a better cast than this.

this drama portrays a daily life of two people who fall in love with each other during the snowstorm and how people around them give their full support for their relationship. the simplicity of this drama is what makes this drama stand-out among many romance dramas.

i actually enjoyed this drama a lot more than i thought i would. well, it was a delightful journey to see the main leads focused drama. and even though there’s another pairing, it doesn’t feel force nor feel like a filler. everything feels natural.

everything about this drama feels majestic, simple yet meaningful.

i don’t know much since i’ve only seen a few of her projects. but her upcoming dramas are romance focused, like Follow Your Heart. i guess she picks the ones that could challenge her acting skills.

omg, so this is a story about Yue Mi and Tian Qi? 😭 are they reincarnation in this version? in ALP, Tian Qi was back to become the True God. i wonder why he’s in different identity as Fan Yu here?

so this drama takes place after Bai Jue sacrificed himself and before he returned to Shang Gu? which means along the journey, Yuan Qi didn’t meet his parents at all or even Shang Gu?

in ALP, Yuan Qi is very close with Tian Qi, did they mention anything about their past relationship here?

yeah, she’s good at picking FL roles and they suit her overall appearance and personality as well. it reminds me of Jing Tian who also likes to pick strong FL roles.

already purchased the express package but can’t bring myself to watch it till the end 😭😭😭😭😭 i’m so not ready to say goodbye to this drama i need more of them!!!

if you meant romance focused only, i don’t know about that. i only watched some, but for me she has the best chemistry and love story in Destined.
