they should change the poster to the first one seriously. it gives off different vibes looking at this poster. not the best miniseries i’ve watched, but it’s a decent one with great chemistry and kisses. i love the ML and FL in this one.

must be his blind date 😂, but if the time skip was of 3yrs than how did his child look like he was 5??!! cause…
Jian Yang once mentioned that his blind date is a widow, so the child is most likely his stepson

i think what happened after the memorial is different situation, which Yin Guo’s determination is very thoughtful…
yes, but i guess Yin Guo was just too concerned at that moment, and she didn’t think much either. because her grandma loves Lin Yi Yang, that’s probably one of the reasons why she chose to act that way. it’s not like she disrespects her family by any means.

i think it’s just different understanding of Yin Guo’s choice and our perspectives. although her mom is strict, i don’t think she will do something against Yin Guo that will hurt her in any way. she’s wise enough to know what to do.

i wonder if this year we’ll have another mature, healing drama like this. it feels like this drama is a rare gem, something that we probably only see once in a few years.

i know that last year we have some of sweet and healing dramas as well, from Hidden Love to Love Me Love My Voice. but the portrayal of the leads’ relationship has different vibes. in this drama, we have a very detailed shot for the leads’ relationship, from the conversations to the skinships. it feels authentic.

im almost done with this drama, and overall i think its great. there is just a few parts i need to rant about.…
i think what happened after the memorial is different situation, which Yin Guo’s determination is very thoughtful imo. at that time, her mom already knew about Yin Guo and Lin Yi Yang’s relationship, and Meng Xiao Dong already told Yin Guo about that beforehand. so, in Yin Guo’s perspective, she (probably for the first time in her life) took a courage to ask her mom because she felt like her mom would understand.

after all, Yin Guo said that her mom has been spoiled her a lot, so i guess it’s pretty normal for her to feel that her mom will let her own daughter go this time. otherwise, i feel like if her mom doesn’t let her go, it will hurt Yin Guo, and it’s not a wise choice as well judging of the situation.

Lin Yi Yang’s master is like a father figure for him. he has a lot of regrets throughout his whole life. he couldn’t even shed a tear in the memorial (and it concerned Yin Guo so much). this alone proved that Yin Guo is actually high EQ. it was also mentioned later by himself by asking Yin Guo if he’s weird that he didn’t cry.

i think Yin Guo’s decision is good enough, and it’s not even about her being sweet and kind, tbh. imo i feel like it’s something that she has to do in that vulnerable moment. and she knows that Lin Yi Yang will be left alone if she didn’t come. he has no one else at that moment and won’t let other people stay by his side either, except Yin Guo.

i’m not a fan of screenwriter’s past works, but i have high hopes for the director (he directed some of great dramas). hopefully they don’t ruin this drama with poor writing and fillers.
On Amidst a Snowstorm of Love Feb 18, 2024
i think we need to appreciate more about Yin Guo’s hairstyle and outfit here. she’s really beautiful in every scene and her outfits are cute and trendy 😂 sometimes i got tired when watching dramas but the FLs got weird outfits and bad hairstyle that didn’t enhance their beauty.

Near the end, where did Lin Yiyang's old injury come from? All of a sudden he's got shoulder pains?
it’s normal for a billiard athlete to have old injury or shoulder pains time by time, even Meng Xiao Dong and Jiang Yang experienced worse (they got surgeries). actually it’s already mentioned in earlier episodes that LYY has old injury (most likely he got that when he was still active in Dongxin Club) and i think Wu Wei is the one who brought the conversation first when they all were still in Hel.

Same here. Just re-watched it and I'm really missing e-sport dramas like this and Love 020. I think Zhang Bin…
oh, you’re right. i just checked but it’s not confirmed yet. also the drama is adapted from BL novel, so i don’t think it’s gonna happen 😢

2019-2021 was the best era for esport dramas. even The King’s Avatar season 2 still has no updates, though it’s confirmed before they’ll make another season.

idk what happened 😩 really miss esport dramas!
On My Special Girl Feb 17, 2024
can someone spoil me when did the leads get together? is it happy ending? any love triangle or evil SML/SFL?
On Amidst a Snowstorm of Love Feb 17, 2024
the proposal scene had me crying so much!!! when Yin Guo and Lin Yin Yang were crying, i cried harder 😭 last time i felt like this was when i watched the proposal scene in Falling into You, and now both are in my top list for this scene!

I hate angst and exaggeration of heavy conflict
a journey to love is so good, but i hate sad ending 😭

i feel like i’m not the same anymore after seeing this kind of healthy, mature relationship in cdramas. i tend to get picky now when choosing which drama i should watch.

Absolutely agree! Really, he is the saddest character. He suffered as a child, then few happy years with Qi and…
omg yes! it would be nice if they have one last kiss or at least Huan could tell his true feelings to her.

also, when Qi played the clam and Huan’s voice came out, confessing his feelings to Qi, it was really a heartbreaking moment for me because Qi didn’t even remember him or give a thought about it at all. i wish she would recall something even just a slightest; like a sense of familiar feeling or something.

Huan deserved to be remembered by his loved one, at least just for his existence.

it feels like he’s just gone… like that. 😢

Omg!! I don’t know about his other dramas. But his acting is on another level. From the beginning of drama their…
agreed! his eyes are very expressive and can convey so many emotions in just one gaze. he’s indeed very talented actor! you should try to watch his another dramas.

Person Yu Shi
i caught sight of him in Weibo Night and wasn’t familiar with his face among the ones who received the awards that night, and then he’s rumored to be the lead of new Tencent’s S+ costume drama. turned out i’ve actually seen him in Born to Fly! he did a great job in that movie.

i think this drama is a perfect wrap for Wu Lei’s last drama project (temporary) before focusing more on movies. well, i still hope he’ll consider to film another drama for next year. each year he always comes up with the new one, something that could challenge his skills, and this one is not an exception. i’m always looking forward to his new project.

Wu Lei never did a romance-focused drama before, so there were some people who claimed he can’t do it. well, this drama is a living-proof that he can do romance drama to the fullest! (and i’d like to disagree with those people because even in his past projects, he could deliver the romance parts very well).

AASOL is my comfort drama and i feel like i won’t ever get bored watching this over and over again.

seriously, Bian Luo Huan is one of the saddest characters i’ve seen in my entire life. he got unfair treatment and sacrificed a lot for his beloved one, and in the end, she couldn’t even remember him at all. it was painfully hard to watch his last scenes 😭😭😭

what makes me suffered the most is because Bian Luo Huan is not just have the same face with Jin Zhao, but also their personality is actually not very different! Bian Luo Huan is very playful as well and not reserved like his outward persona.

in the midst of getting to know Huan deeper, it feels like Yue Qi actually could fall in love with both of them.

oh, god. it reminds of Ancient Love Poetry when i was torn between Qing Mu and Bai Jue. but at least, in that drama both are actually one person, while in this drama, Huan and Jin Zhao are not the same person.

Xianxia is not my cup of teaAndThis is the ONLY Xianxia drama I have completed tbh.
agreed, Xu Kai and Zhou Dong Yue did a phenomenal job in this drama. one of the reasons i finished this is because of their acting and love story.

Do you know more dramas that has this much cinematography?
Eternal Love, Love Between Fairy and Devil, Love You Seven Times, and The Last Immortal have the similar vibes and setting.

Till the End of the Moon also has a great cinematography.

i wanna rewatch this but i still remember the pain i had to endure when i saw the last few episodes. when Lusi cried, i cried harder too 😩
