i’m on eps 9 and god, their kiss in the car was so unexpected but so, so good! 😭 it’s been a while since i found a wonderful kiss scene like this, actually i don’t mind if it’s just a peck or a short kiss as long as they could capture the momentum and atmosphere, and this one checked all the boxes! so far i still rate this drama 10/10, i hope they won’t ruin this perfect couple in the further episodes
finally the rating reached 8. the main leads just held a fans screening a few days ago and they recreated some iconic scenes from this drama. i couldn’t stop watching their chemistry off and on screen, they were matched so well.
i’d like to see them in another project, probably in a more mature version. Jiang Zhinan looked so good with long hair.
i’m on eps 12 and i can’t stop thinking that Cheng Lei looks and sounds like Ren Jialun here 😅 he didn’t dub himself? even in his mask, his eyes and the shape of his face are a little bit different.
i’ve already watched several dramas of Zhang Jiong Min since his debut era, and even comparing them to last year when he appeared in Hidden Love, i didn’t see much difference in his appearance nor facial expressions.
but in this one, i almost didn’t recognize him at first. idk if it’s because he acted as a cool person who didn’t talk much or his hairstyle or his eyebrows, but his overall appearance were very different here; even when he smiled and laughed in bts.
i’d say 100% sure that his acting and how he controlled his facial expressions here have improved so, so much. imo this was his best acting so far. whoever put the hairstyle and makeup for him in this drama, they need a raise.
this drama really showcased the range of his acting and proved that he could bring this type of character to life, not just a goofy person or anything like in his previous dramas.
i hope people will recognize his acting more in the future and he’ll get bigger projects. same goes to Jiang Zhi Nan.
“you’re my starting point, and you’re my destination, too.” i love this line so, so much and how they included it for his proposal.
i have watched so many dramas this year, but this one gave me warm, fuzzy feelings that i know i’ll remember for a long time.
this drama is nowhere near perfection; there were times that i felt like i just wanted to scream and push the leads to confront their feelings as fast as it could. but then we got a twist about ML’s past history, and slowly i could understand his behavior towards his surroundings.
the marriage took me by surprises and honestly could handle it better. but i actually love that, like it was something new for me to see this kind of mutual agreement without any force behind that; and how ML tried to win FL back by showing up as her blind date, and took a step further by asking her to marry him.
episode 10 was hard to get it through, but i could feel the angst, and somehow i felt like it was necessary for them to experience it. still my least favorite episode, and the lack of communication could handle it better.
1 episode left and i don’t want to say goodbye at all.
from the ending’s credit, this drama will definitely have a very happy ending. i just hope they’ll solve all…
but still throwing a SML and (possible) SFL is a weird move for such a short drama. i hope it won’t get draggy and we’ll get more fluffy scenes for the last few episodes.
from the ending’s credit, this drama will definitely have a very happy ending. i just hope they’ll solve all the problems quickly and let the main leads have their real dating era for a few episodes, not just in the last episode.
actually this drama is like a summary of so many cliche tropes; but they manage to keep it in a good pace and focus on the main characters.
i’m on eps 12 but i feel like they cut some of important scenes and the editing was not smooth at all to cover…
i feel so bad for Esther Yu and Zhang Binbin because this one could be an instant hit if only the production knows how to do their job properly. they should just cut it down to 24-28 episodes and make it as main leads focused drama because that’s what viewers want to watch. we don’t really care about either we have the second couple or not.
if only the second couple’s storyline was interesting as much as the main leads, i wouldn’t complain at all. but their chemistry and dynamic were so off in so many ways.
i hate it when i need to drop the drama just because the plot is boring because honestly YMR and ZY’s love story is so interesting for me. they should be given more screentime together. it’s like the whole production wasted the perfect acting and chemistry of YMR and ZY.
the director is the one who directed Intense Love and it’s main leads focused drama, even though there are other couples. but why she couldn’t do the same with this drama?
god, now i feel torn between wanting to see all eps but skipping all second couple’s scenes, or just drop it. i hate this feeling so much.
i’m on eps 12 but i feel like they cut some of important scenes and the editing was not smooth at all to cover that. first when YMR was trying to tie ZY’s necktie, and now in eps 12, YMR and ZY accidentally kissed each other but the drama showed it like they didn’t. YMR’s reactions after that were so flustered i believe 100% they did kiss. why they cut it like that😭 it’s weird and honestly so unsastifying.
this is my most favorite season! probably because i can see the dynamic between Shen Yue-Shan Yichun and Wang Ziqi-Wang Xingyue 😂 four of them are like a breath of fresh air. also this YueYue cp is really funny.
i’d like to see them in another project, probably in a more mature version. Jiang Zhinan looked so good with long hair.
but i’m on eps 30 now and without his mask, Cheng Lei didn’t look like Ren Jialun at all, just his voice somehow still sounded similar.
