can someone spoil me if this drama is happy ending? i’m on episode 3 and i feel like most protagonists here are in morally grey area, so it makes me a little bit uncomfortable to continue... although the plot is interesting and each character has their own story to reveal.
i’m 100% sure Yang Mi and Gong Jun can pull off a great chemistry if only the writer and directors KNOW how to do their job. i’d like to blame for the poor writing and directing in this drama.
for a big budget production, they should hire more experienced writer with some great dramas… seriously.
i love this drama so much, this is by far my MOST favorite kdrama, ever. i’ve been watching kdramas for more than a decade and honestly no one can top the unexpectedness and loveliness in this drama!
He filmed the Tale of Rose with Liu Yi Fie in 2023
i know, but he’s only a guest role there. i meant he didn’t film any projects as main leads, which surprised me. idk if he was on long vocation after filming Shen Li or got busy with something else.
it’s surprised me that he didn’t film any projects throughout 2023 till now for the upcoming year or so. did he get busy with something else? Shen Li was filmed in 2022 so i thought i’d see him in another drama after this one… but nothing to look forward too now.
his portrayal as Xing Zhi/Xing Yun was very phenomenal. i’d like to see him in more challenging roles like this. he gives off that strong, yet soft aura all over.
just started watching the first few episodes and i’m loving it so far! from the first ep i could tell this one would have the best CGI among any xianxia dramas out there.
imo the ending was perfect. i love every details in this drama. all casts did amazing job! perfect 10/10 for me.
