Definitely so sweet together, that I hope the conflicts that arise are meaningful and not pointlessly there for…
I think we're circling the same idea. You’re looking for meaning, and I’m saying meaning is revealed in the resolution. It works both ways: a seemingly trivial conflict can lead to a resolution that’s unexpectedly profound, giving the story real weight. Conversely, a conflict with massive stakes can fall flat if its resolution lacks clarity or coherence—without a meaningful end, the story loses its impact.
Damn really 1k lower then same time yesterday, maybe the Xu Kai nonsense is really effecting this drama in mainland…
I doubt it. I've seen comments on Douban, I was amazed how detail some fans are about Xu Kai and how much they care about him. I've learned so much great things about Xu Kai researching, I've never seen such devotion to an actor. It just goes to show Xu Kai's sincerity is not fake to have such devotion from people that are tuned to what really is going on.

those so-called photos and videos and stuff are not even hers. she's uploading other people's stuff to smear him, and it works because people like yourself believe it. this kind of stuff works because even if they clear their name later on, it takes time, and people will believe whatever they want to believe
I’m really enjoying this drama so far! For anyone worried about the ending, don’t be! The original novel,…
The drama has deviated from the novel. In the novel he fell in love at first sight before they met. He was not part of a temple or sect that once sought to destroy demons. In the novel, the temple was peaceful, and he had left it behind to work for the imperial ministry of justice dealing with human cases while in the novel, he belongs to the Bureau of mystic investigation that once sought to kill demons. There was no restriction on falling in love, his parents did not die in the same fire as Wu Zhen experienced, he was not investigating his parents murder or seeking revenge against demons, I think he harbors resentment toward demons but not in the novel. Ignorant viewers call this a demon hunter series, but it's not.
The characters personality and dynamics, the setting are identical, and some of the events are enacted in the drama.
We got a full ep of WZ using her Cat powers, now we need a full ep of MZY using his powers
MZY's powers are more powerful than hers in the novel but conjuring up talisman is not that amazing to watch like with the demons showing their true form.
While FL was in this death fight with the rat demon, how come she has a cat demon that separate from her to protect…
The demons come from spirits who cultivate this supernatural power. Spirits can be animals, plants and objects, anything. Cat Lord's essence is a cat spirit. That's her true form but she can also shift her shape back to her human form, but her power comes from the cat spirit who cultivated to become this all powerful demon.
For those who are wondering about the Heat Index. If you actually look at Kuyun's heat index, the decreasing figure…
You can't compare This Thriving Land. It's on both online + TV. Moonlit Reunion is not on CCTV. Also, the kind of story that This Thriving Land with its cultural themes attracts a wide audience in China. I've watched the first few episodes (they're all on You Tube and I can't even find Moonlit Reunion on YT) this kind of show is so different, how can you compare to it, apples and oranges. This Thriving Land has older actors too that are well known and attract larger audience. Their acting is very excellent. I enjoy it although the constant commotions of their lives wear me down. Even their story is a bit unrealistic for a realistic story like after being kidnapped, she is able to climb down from the snowy mountain overnight, no food, no water, then she reaches home, runs away again, back to the mountain, is rescued after she collapses, wont' eat anything, like how can she survive like that with no food or water for at least 2 days now I think, and it's not fantasy show, yet she was able to just get out of bed and acts weak but looks fine to me after all she went through. They make it look like she hasn't eaten for days. The kidnapping that is the crucial event that sets off the entire story was so strange and unbelievable, like the mother just let strangers in her house and go see her daughter, then with a gun, they kidnap her, and everyone knows these dangerous bandits who live up the mountain.
