I read the novel I CANT WAIT!!!!
I read the novel really fast, and it didn’t match the excerpts I saw someone posting on X. Now I’m wondering if I read the bland version.

I saw X users posting different numbers at different times. Based on the posting timestamps, it went from 10M to 100M in under 5 hours, with the biggest acceleration happening in under 1.5 hours — from 20M to 100M 📈 In fact, two users reported 80M and then 100M only 9 minutes apart.

It’s going to be amazing, because she’s doing what she loves, and she’s a very smart, creative, talented, and passionate person in the arts. Her acting is natural, layered, and emotional. Most top actors are taking on smaller dramas now, so she’s simply following that trend, and it’s good for her.
Her long break makes sense to me — with everything that’s happened and the fast‑changing state of the industry. There are fewer scripts, and even fewer good ones, so choosing the right project for her return is crucial. A flop would be disastrous, so she’s smart to be careful.

She is quite ambitious and has a keen business mind set too. I just hope she doesn't burn out again.

I saw an X post on it, just one post about some event that is sponsored by fans and iQIYi

iQIYI seems to be pulling out a full international rollout for Xu Kai because he actually has real pan‑Asian popularity and can carry both SEA and Greater China at the same time. They announced the Thailand meet‑and‑greet on Sept 20 for viral hype, then I saw someone post about an Indonesia event, and Indonesia is massive for TikTok spread, and now they’ve added the expensive Hong Kong LED billboards which give the drama a prestige, high‑tier feel. I was really surprised to see the HK billboards because that's got to cost a lot of money. Is this common?

Is it back to the September 12 rumor??
I doubt it can be Sep 12 (ATC is Sep 11), and Sep 19 seems too late to me, I really think it will be either Sep 17 or 18.

Sep 18–30 might be the ideal airing schedule. Premiere on a Fri night before the weekend and finale the night before the start of Golden Week. And there is a 3‑day weekend Sep 25–27 (Mid‑Autumn Festival). Actually, Sep 12 was an even better date because it would end sooner and build 6 more days of word‑of‑mouth before Golden Week.

Person Xu Kai
Is tiandu tang?
Tian Du Yi Wen Lu uses the Tang dynasty system, but it’s not set in the historical Tang dynasty. The capital name “Tiandu” is fictional so the writers can be flexible with the plot — using the real Tang capital (Chang’an) would limit them. But the worldbuilding is still Tang, unlike dramas where the entire dynasty is made up or only loosely inspired by history. Spring of the Blade is different: the story is fictional, but the dynasty itself is based on the real Song dynasty, not a make‑believe one. So I view TDYWL and SOTB as set in Tang and Song, respectively. The stories are fictional, but the dynasty settings come from real historical systems.

The more I learn about dynasties, I learn about so many inventions came out of China thousands of years ago. China invented the world’s first printing press in the Song dynasty, but it was movable type printing. China had a lot of printed books long before the rest of the world. And not just “more,” but centuries earlier, on a scale no other civilization could match at the time.

Person Xu Kai
Actually, post 95 actors, Xu Kai has been in the most dynasty settings 🏯
SOYP Qing, CL Tang, RF Ming, SOTB Early Song Dynasty,

In fact, you have to go back to actors born in the late 1970s–1980s to find an actor with more.

can't count:
Tian Du Yi Wen Lu is set within the Tang dynasty system, but not in the historical Tang dynasty itself.
WOL was fictional dynasty inspired by pre-Tang, the plot inspired by Tang
UL Liu Song & Northern Wei Dynasties but he's barely in it

I like Royal Feast the most.

OK since ATC has officially announced premier date one week before it airs Sep 11. Does that mean SOTB will announce its premier date after Sep 10. I inclined to believe Sep 17 is the date.
