I don't recall that much kissing in The Legends except that one scene. BCE was one kiss. WOL has a lot of kissing.

XingChen is not just business, it's also very personal to her. HT knew that too which is why he wanted to tell her but then he got interrupted when she got a message from Chang He and then she made some comment about how she couldn't betray him. The worried look on HT's face knowing what he has to do. He didn't expect to move on the merger so fast. He always wanted to discuss with her first. JX is too impulsive and reactionary and too emotional. This drama is not over yet. We have to wait to see how she will grow from here.

Don't worry. the drama is not over yet. I saw in almost the last chapters of the novel that HT has surgery and JX actually manages Hanhai-XingChen really well. Not sure if that will play out in the drama but it is an indication their relationship and her business savvy will improve greatly. She will become a real asset to him. She needed this period of time to reflect and HT coax her back to his company. Everyone in life goes through ups and downs, failures and successes, periods of reflection on their lives, regrets, what they did right and what they did wrong, and how to go forward. I'm hopeful the characters will show growth in the remaining episodes.

Someone had posted a comment days ago that HT would never allow JX to spoon feed him, but that is not true. In Chp. 78,
"JX fed him very devoutly"
"JX paused feeding HT"

HT said 'suitable' meant 'three views (not sure what that means), goals, time, ideas, spirit, interest, even just the ability to continue a conversation and share humor

The way I interpreted that was 'me too' is not the same as 'I love you' when their definitions of love are different. When she says, 'I love you', she is referring to pure unconditional sacrificial ultimate love, when he says, 'me too', his definition of love was 'I like you' because 'love' is accumulated over time, not all at once. We find out the next time she says, 'I love you', then he did ask 'define love'.

After HT exchanged Guangsha shares for Chang He's XingChen share, he has 53% interest in XingChen. He doesn't need JX's approval to merge with Hanhai. The thing is he was willing to transfer his 53% shares all to JX but if he did that, then couldn't she stop the merger? But she walked away from it. It's confusing.

JX signed an agreement with another party without HT's approval which was required since he is a majority shareholder, that was a breach. HT exchanging Guangsha share for XingChen shares does not require JX approval so how is that a breach? HT is majority shareholder of Guangsha, Hanhai, and XingChen so how is that insider info? Was he legally obligated to disclose his involvement with Hanhai? I do believe HT's ruthless actions makes anyone working with him to both fear and distrust him, which is what happened to JX. He promised her that he would leave XingChen alone which as he explained to her, he did not meddle in the startup, but in her mind, she meant she didn't to be taken over by another company which is why she turned down every investor but HT. HT's words are true but she felt betrayed and lied to.

I need to rewatch the whole drama later.

At least HT was very honest and wanted to help JX see the truth. If he was a snake, he could have pretended to be sorry to make her feel better, pretend to say I love you but not mean it. Both of them are strong-willed and not give in.

JX is a strong character in this story, but she is not perfect. Impulsive is her character trait in the story but that doesn't mean she's a weak or bad character as she has many strong traits. Han Ting being so rational is both a strength in business and a weakness when it comes to interpersonal relationships.

I haven't heard HT say he loves her in the drama. His actions are loving but he never says it.

sometimes I forget to go back and rewatch after they update the translation but ep 31 is a must rewatch.

actually as true as HT's words are, the more I listen to JX, the more I can sympathize with her too.

JX said she didn't care about other companies, only when it involves her. Hanhai involves her that's why it upset her so much.

HT says he's got a million sides to him. Perhaps for JX, she needs to see all "one million" sides to feel secure in a relationship. That's why when it comes to JX, he cannot mix business and personal with her when it involves her.

My view is that the argument about love is the same in the drama as it is in the novel.
