HT has been very kind to her always. Even scolding her, he presents her with a banquet of her favorite dishes.…
Also, I noticed HT did not think it was her own initiative to bring harm to him, but it would be his cousin's influence. HT knows ZD would never harm him. It was only after he saw the look on her face when he said he's in a relationship with JX, that was the reason he knew he had to cut ties with her. But then later when she invited him to discuss a matter, he still went to see her. But she hadn't signed the transfer agreement yet. HT can rationalize things, compartmentalize things, take emotions out of things.
Should we count how many product is implanted in the drama for ads purpose?- certain type of drinking water-soda…
Cat food? Telescope had a brand name on it. The necklace. Electric toothbrush - are the recognizable brands in China? Their mobile phones that fold up.
She's over the top obsessive, and also selfish--going after what he likes is making life difficult for the man…
HT is a rational man. He is not impulsive. He does not operate on emotions but logic. If there is no reason to cut her off, he can still keep the friendship and partnership for her family ties.
A widow whose wife died at childbirth and left him a daughter, so now he's a single dad, protective of his little girl. I think I read that he had promised himself he would never remarry. Li LI seems ready to accept him, but he's just not ready.
It seems HT would have resolved the matter too because the investigation dug up that the reason for her relapse was due to her husband assaulted her. JX should have quietly captured what they said and leave with the evidence, but she had to play hero. Good thing the jerk can't move very fast.
I actually kinda understand ZD. For at least a decade, she has dedicated her life to HT. She made herself revolve…
HT has been very kind to her always. Even scolding her, he presents her with a banquet of her favorite dishes. He has always let her know where she stands with him and not cross the line. He wants to keep her friendship and partnership but once she crossed that line, actually, it was after he told her he's already in a relationship, that he saw the look on her face, and knew right there and then, he needs to cut ties with her.
About their hook up scene: So when HT was teasing JX, she clearly got an idea that he wants to hook up with her.…
HT was serious about the bet that if she loses, she has to do whatever he asks, and he knew what he wanted from her. So, when he won, he stared at her like okay I'm ready but seeing the look on her face, he pretended that he was only teasing and said forget it. Upon hearing "tease", she understood what he wanted. Then he gave her a necklace and as he is putting it on her, she felt closeness and wanted him too. So, she said, since you can give me 3.5% of the shares, I lost so I should honor the bet too, but she really just wanted him. The morning after, she couldn't believe she did it. It's all happening too fast for her. She doesn't even know what their relationship is. She was late for work too, so she snuck out. Han Ting has a way of flirting with her that she cannot resist, and HT also cannot resist her, but neither of them have really discuss being in a relationship, so she's confused what came over her, what just happened. Also, she never thought she is in his league, that he could choose her. But earlier that night, she also realized that Han Ting has been very nice to her before.
I'm not fluent because I left HK at 5 yrs old. My parents were not strict about speaking Chinese at home even though they don't speak English. Even though they were from villages, I supposed they were in HK long enough they picked up a lot of Hong Kong dialect. Someone I know says that people in Guangzhou dialect is very similar to Hong Kong dialect, so he thinks they are similar because people from Guangzhou probably migrated to Hong Kong. It's a requirement for actors to be able to get rid of their accents like in USA, actors from the Midwest, they cannot use Midwest accent in movies. I saw a comment in Douban that it's harder to change Cantonese accent to Official Mandarin accent than it is for someone with Mandarin accent. So Xu Kai is going to have to work hard to get rid of his accent otherwise, he cannot use his voice in costume dramas. He has accent to both Hong Kongers and to Mainland China. It's no wonder, I saw comments about both his Cantonese and Mandarin. Also, Xu Kai's parents are not originally from Guangdong area, so they also have an accent from the area of China they came from. This would explain why Xu Kai's accent is a mixture of accents.
I see what you mean. There is a difference between those in Hong Kong and those outside of Hong Kong city. I am not fluent, but I can speak some Cantonese, but my parents were from villages outside of Hong Kong. Xu Kai's Cantonese sounds just like the way I heard it growing up.
