before I have read the novel I was like what the heck? but after reading it, there is nothing father-son like about their relationship. there was some wishful thinking from gu yun´s side in the beginning but even chang geng didn´t want to call him "yifu" at fist and called him Shiliu. he later started calling him "yifu" just to make him happy. I think in the show, they can, however, use that closeness to really create a brotherly relationship.

more like father and less like daddy? :D

tbh, I don´t think it was like specified but I just wasn´t sure what to take out of it. hopefully it will be better in the show. I really hope Song Ji Yang will be in as many episodes as possible.

about Chunhua. Can somebody explain to me what exactly does he do in the army? because I didn´t get it but it sounded badass. I remember that in the later chapters they sent him North? but was he an actual solider or did he go through the papers or something?
