Title Charisma
This movie is art. It requires attention, and it's very open to interpretation.

Lesson learned:
When you venture into the unknown and eat some weird-looking mushrooms, you may have some weird ideas about life's harmony and things/people that disturb it.

Lessons learned:
1. When your wife wants to get a goldfish, you're in deep trouble.
2. Watch the fish closely.
3. It is impossible to manage a hair saloon if you're in a relationship.

The 2nd episode was the best (grandma won me over). Other than that, the drama dragged a lot for me (it's watchable at 2-2.5x speed). The FL was naive throughout the whole drama. The ML was a jerk for the most of it.
Acting was pretty good.

Most of the time, especially after the first few episodes, it was a set of predictable cliches. There are better dramas out there.

I'm glad that my prediction by the end of season 2 turned out to be correct šŸ˜‰

In season 3 I felt that some side stories were unnecessary, but other than that it was still pretty good.
The ending leaves almost everyone's story open, but I think that's actually fine. It's still a good material for a potential sequel šŸ˜‰

Overall it was a very good drama, with very realistic characters (except for the teenage son - he's too good to be real, right? šŸ˜‰) and good acting.

Season 1 was about who the victim is. So season 2 must be about who the murderer is, right?
I like how in season 1 everyone could be the victim, but by the end most of the grudges pointed at one person.
In season two it's similar - everyone has a motive.

Very well-written drama so far. Nice character development. Good acting. The pacing could be a bit faster, but it's okay.

Now on to season 3.

Childish humor and a set of cliches. Rainie Yang looks nice, and the acting is good, but that's it.

I've watched the 23-episode version on YT.

The first 7 episodes were filled with cheap and cringe comedy moments (or maybe "cute" for some early teenagers) to the point that I considered dropping it a few times (and I almost never drop dramas).

From episode 8 onward it felt a bit like a different drama. It's a bit more serious, sometimes even feeling like a melodrama.

Acting was actually good. At some moments I thought it was even better than this story deserved.

Overall I think there are many better dramas out there, but if you decide to watch this one and cannot stand the childish humor (or the ML's hair šŸ˜‰), I think you can just jump to episode 8 (in the 23-episode version) and start from there.

A well-written and well-executed drama so far (I just completed season 1).
It starts with a hook and keeps you guessing who the victim is while uncovering more and more story before the incident.
The characters are interesting, and the acting is mostly good enough.

The ML was always there waiting for the FL and forgiving all of her weird shit. His feelings didn't waver even…
No. I meant the one after the ML gets scolded about not taking FL's feelings into consideration (because it was snowing and he tried to lend her an umbrella). Then he begs her not to think about their relationship ending before it actually began, and he kisses her.
A few years ago that kind of kiss would be considered very romantic, but nowadays some people may see it as forced - especially considering what the FL said before it happened šŸ˜‰

Even though I started watching this drama with low expectations, by the end I'm disappointed. The first 4 episodes…
The ML was always there waiting for the FL and forgiving all of her weird shit. His feelings didn't waver even though she rejected him twice... well, there was one unforgivable thing he's done - he kissed the FL without her consent at the end of episode 8! šŸ˜‰

The writer didn't even allow the ML to be pissed at the FL when he found out about her using BoD - he was just allowed to feel... "weird" šŸ™„šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Even though I started watching this drama with low expectations, by the end I'm disappointed.

The first 4 episodes were actually okay - nice looking people, fluffy cliches, witnessing the first version of Matrix as it's trying to take control over humans... okay, I made up that last part šŸ˜‰

Then the ML's misery starts, and the drama shifts to the FL's problems.
Honestly the ML is just more perfect than the AI (see spoiler below).
As I was watching episode 8, I thought that this drama is to convince men that it's time to subscribe to "Girlfriend on Demand" as soon as it comes out šŸ˜‰

It was my first time seeing Ji Soo acting, and it wasn't that bad... until that crying scene in episode 10... which was actually the only thing that made me laugh in this episode šŸ˜…

The best thing in this drama was the chemistry between the leads.

One more thing I liked is that I think this show was quite realistic in saying that the truth does not matter in court - what matters instead is what people believe in.

For me the first 4 episodes were good, but after that the story dragged on up to episode 11. Episode 12 was the most interesting, and then 11 a bit. The rest was just okay. But maybe that's because I didn't really pay attention to the law cases and was more focused on the relationships.

I also did not like what FL did in episode 3, and I understand people who drop the show because of that.

Title Hyena Spoiler
Reviews I saw calling her a badass and morally grey but in this episode 4 I just see a hypocritical woman after…
BTW Seo Jeong Hwa gets killed at the end of episode 11 and in episode 12 it's mentioned that her death may be because the FL stopped her from leaving Chan Ho in episode 3.

Anyway what the FL did in episode 3 was not badass at all. It was simply evil.

Your comment is similar to the 3rd episode review of @Toot.
It's hard to disagree with you on that matter.

Real life is also temporary and artificial. Both of us, this website, every relationship ever, the universe...…
Fair point.
I don't know why, but your comment reminded me of the "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain" monologue.

Sometimes we just want to distract ourselves from real life. That's why we watch all these dramas, right? šŸ˜‰

At first I was not convinced by the next "standard, teenager with issues" movie, so I watched it mostly on 2x speed.

The second half of the movie got me hooked - right from when the leads arrive at the ML father's house and also the bridge scene after that.

Overall the movie turned out to be pretty good.
Prepare some tissues.

This movie was a bit strange to me. It was a curious mix of melodrama and comedy which might be a hit-or-miss…
I believe the main message of this movie is: Don't give up.
1. Love can give you strength to carry on in times when you've decided to give up.
2. You never know on which part of your journey you may find someone special you'll want to care about.
