The drama focuses almost entirely on the romance between the leads, which is its strong point. The pacing is quite slow, but I believe it suits this type of drama.

We have a FL who is hurt by the ending of her seven-year relationship, and a perfect ML (or maybe not too perfect - he's not a CEO 😂) who falls in love with her at first sight.

I think the writer did an excellent job of not dwelling on any side stories while still managing to keep the drama interesting. The actors also delivered strong performances with great chemistry.

An unwritten plot twist that will ruin this drama for you (after you finish watching):

Title #Alive
This movie portrays a supermarket trip during the pandemic, where everyone - acting like zombies - is frantically trying to buy toilet paper.

Mostly you can guess what's happening on these episodes if you want to watch it. Also you'll struggle to continue…
So, is it one of those predictable dramas that lose their charm halfway through?

On My Royal Nemesis Jun 21, 2026
The overall score dropped from 8.6 on 2026-06-12 (episode 11 release day) to the current 8.4 on 2026-06-19 (episode 13 release day).
However, individual episode ratings for episodes 11, 12, 13, and 14 are currently 8.8, 8.8, 8.9, and 9.1.

Sooo I guess it should be worth watching? 😉

The pacing in this drama is very uneven. I would say the first half was okay, but after that, there were too many episodes where almost nothing happened, causing the story to draaaag.

The second couple was painful to watch. The 2FL character was clearly miserable, constantly rejected because the 2ML character had some issues - though the writer did not bother to show us the reasons.

You better get your DNA tested 😉Nah, it is normal ...at least I hope so 😅but... are you 100% sure you know…
For me the main question was not "Who the killer is?" but rather "Who the killer's accomplice is?" 😉

Is it normal to know from the very beginning who the killer is? I'm only on episode 2, but will keep watching…

Title Heart Code
The story is simple and highly predictable, so it shouldn't be taken too seriously. On the positive side, it doesn't drag; at times, it even feels rushed.
The strengths of this drama lie in the beautiful lead actresses and the passionate relationship between the main characters.

The story was predictable and had been done many times before.
The action scenes were good but sometimes outright defied the laws of nature.

Qin Lan appears in only about five minutes of the entire movie. It's surprising that she is listed as a main role here.

You can and should treat this season as a standalone drama. Characters from season 1 are mentioned only twice, and only for about 5 seconds.

The first 2 episodes are filled with cringe-worthy and cheap humor, which can be difficult to watch. As the series progresses, the slapstick comedy diminishes, making way for a standard rom-com in the latter half of the drama.

My favorite character: Rebecca ❤

Although the story centers on a simple tragic event, I liked how it became complex through the characters' actions and emotional struggles.
Shida Mirai delivered a strong performance, especially in the crying scene in episode 5.
