Title The Guest
The premise was interesting, and the concept was good, but by episode 10, I felt the story took a different direction. It suddenly seemed as though the writer decided to complicate the plot. Essentially, you could watch episodes 1 and 5, then skip ahead to episode 10.

The acting was very good for the most part, and the production and special effects were well done.

No... no... NOOOOOOOOOOO!!Not again...Not after everything...*cue thunder*The curtains tremble, the chandeliers…
I was about to reply with something that seemed important, but then I forgot who I am and what I’m doing here.
Oh well, I’m going to look for the girl I knew when I was little so we can fall in love again, then separate for two years, and finally reunite - only to discover that one of us has an incurable disease, while the other must flee from loan sharks because of a family member.
If only I could remember who that girl was...

The first 10 episodes felt like just another average K-drama (and what was with that retrospective that took up the entire second episode?). However, I eventually got hooked.
Although I was a bit disappointed by the last two episodes, it was still an enjoyable watch.

It was okay. I think episode 7 (Grandma's episode) was the best of the entire drama.

Lesson learned:
In South Korea, if a helicopter crashes during landing, the person who requested it is held responsible.
The pilot's competence is never questioned (If you thought otherwise, that would be disrespectful. Shame on you!).

The FL is not fine with the ML performing the kissing scenes. I believe I've heard a similar story before in the K-drama land... Anyway, they seem like a perfectly fine couple with nothing but a bright future ahead! πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

I don't know why, but I expected even more action and chaos from this drama. It had its ups and downs, and I increased the playback speed at some moments. Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable watch.

Some people say there are symbols in this drama, so pay close attention while watching - it might be important. I don't recommend watching this drama in reverse, though. May the Flying Spaghetti Monster protect you from evil.

Lessons Learned:
1. Think twice when your girlfriend asks for some coffee.
2. Be cautious of people who clap their hands.

Title Mask Girl
This is a typical Korean slice-of-life drama featuring male characters with minor flaws and women who seek only a little appreciation while doing what must be done.

It features the typical conflicts between generations that I’m sure all of us have experienced in one way or another. It also highlights the importance of friendship and motherhood.

Okay, but seriously, this is not a typical drama. The story may surprise you, and the number of social issues presented here may be surprising as well - if you choose to notice them. However, you can also watch it without giving those issues much thought.

Same here, struggling to finish it with the slow pace. Might have to x2 speed it.
Yeah, I've often been increasing the playback speed to 3x or even 4x while watching this drama.

It's one of those dramas that makes you wonder why it wasn't made into a movie. The pacing is quite slow, with the real action starting only in episode 13.

The ending made me roll my eyes, and I could have sworn the character said "YOLO" before driving off.

So to get revenge, she slept with the Kang Yoon Gyeom and Jang Jin Uk?
Yep, it's a Win-Win kind of revenge πŸ˜‰

The first half of the movie is just to teach you why camera stabilizers were invented. Then, suddenly, the entire story is revealed on a sheet of paper. The ending feels like a ray of light breaking through a dark, cloudy sky.

On Lawless Lawyer Jun 29, 2026
Let's explore the genres of this drama (minor spoilers ahead).

1. Action – There are several melee combat scenes. I did not focus on them. They may be worth watching.

2. Thriller – This drama lacks suspense. Everything is revealed early on, and all potential plot twists are resolved swiftly, leaving little room for intrigue πŸ™

3. Law – Although this drama centers on lawyers, it is highly unrealistic. The court cases can make you roll your eyes, especially in the final episode.

4. Romance – Don’t expect a typical romance where feelings gradually develop and the leads grow closer. In this story, the romance simply happens abruptly. It feels as if the writer finished the script, and then someone said, β€œLet’s make the leads a couple.” The writer replied, β€œOkay,” added a few lines to the script, and just like that, we have the romance πŸ˜‰

This melodrama depicts several tragedies.

1. The Tragedy of Mothers
Only the mothers in this drama care deeply about their children. They do everything in their power to help their children avoid critical mistakes when choosing life partners. However, their children neither appreciate this help nor the stress it causes.

2. The tragedy of the wealthy being above the law.
As you can see in the first episodes, the FL tries multiple times to get rid of the ML but fails. This illustrates how chaebols in South Korea operate above the law. They can essentially do whatever they want, while ordinary people have no recourse.
The drama depicts how the FL develops Stockholm syndrome to cope with the situation.

I dropped this after ending of episode 27 when the FL said she extended her abroad stay without even discussing…
I understand your point, although that situation is a cheap cliffhanger and its explanation is provided in the next episode.

I almost stopped watching this drama when she nearly kissed the ML without his consent while he was sleeping. I mean, come on - it's a 2025 drama! Where is the censorship?

I was also shocked when the FL physically assaulted her ex with a flower bouquet, but fortunately, she did face some consequences at her workplace.

In the last episode, the ML really went to pick up his other girlfriend from the airport.
Do you remember the line, "Doctors can't lie"? πŸ˜‰
