before zhu yan left, she repeatedly and eagerly asked her shifu when she can come back, that shi ying must come and visit her. shi ying couldn't respond to her because in his heart, this was already a farewell, and he couldn't find the right words to say

in the spiritual realm, shi ying couldn't control himself and filled the trees with blossoming red flowers for zhu yan. when da siming attempted to provoke shi ying by telling him news of zhu yan's marriage, shi ying ultimately wrote a farewell letter. it was like an acceptance, in a way that he had to put a clean end to all of this. it was so heartbreaking to watch 💔

eps 19 & 20 showed the extent of zhu yan's affections for shi ying, how deep it actually is...i was literally all over MY FEELS...when she kept on saying that she wants to see her shifu so much 😭 her "shifu i missed you" 28366381837 times 😭 UGHHH i just cant get over

and then of course shi ying has to be an asshole for idc-whatever-reason 😮‍💨 couldn't even personally hand over the gifts??? you better make it up in the next eps 😡

yeah, like it's the bare minimum criticism an actor should expect

goes both ways, ones that defend her are XZ fans too

criticism towards one's acting isn't rude tho, just saying.. it's their job, they should do well on that aspect. and for me, wcr currently isn't. she can still improve tho

eps 17 and 18 were rollercoaster of emotions for me... went from worried to 😳😳😍😍 to shock to happy for them to being worried again and now, sad... the grip this drama has on me omg
