Once again really enjoyed ep 5 and 6. The only thing which is bothering me is the afwul cutting of the scenes. Sometimes they'll end abruptly or in a weird way so that they don't blend well into the next scene. Then I would wonder if there is a missing scene....
I don't get the low rating... so far I have seen three episodes and it is such a funny and adorable drama with an interesting crime story. The ahjumma is hilarious and the chemistry between the leads ia already there although they didn't have so many encounters yet. Finally a well done Netflix drama. Really looking forward to todays episode๐ค
Very promosing beginning with many hilarious scenes. Really excited for the upcoming eps. Love it that the main couple doesn't follow the typical korean look
"Many people said they watched the drama during tough times in their lives and found solace in it, which made me really happy. "
I can relate to this wholeheartedly... Lovely Runner means so much to me; it was my place of escape during a really tough time in real life. Thank you really much to the whole cast and crew for creating this amazing gem and especially thanks to Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon who made this drama so unforgetable. ๐ซถ
Haha ok. Yes I am bit sad that it is is ending but I am actually really glad about the 12 eps. I have the impression that the 16 ep system doesn't suit the most kdramas...
the kid got neglected because her grandma only cares about superpowers, her aunt is busy wasting money on guys…
Yes I understood that the grown ups were busy with the "modern diseases". But nevertheless it put me so off how they were neglecting the child... seems to be harsh but this is actually a case for the youth welfare office. That's why it was hard to like the family.
I binge watched all 10 episodes. So far it is really interesting and yes a quite unique drama. Love that the characters are neither black nor white. The daughter and the uncle are my most favorite characters- and the least favorite are the sister and mother of the ML.
There are a few things which really bothered me (no spoiler): the ML is apparently severely depressed and an alcoholic but no-one seem to help him apart from meddling into his love life. The daughter is also quite neglected: she is a 13 years old girl, eats almost only junk food and is smartphone addicted which is something really serious and no-one in the family seems to care about her. Hellloooo, she is not an 18 years old young woman but a little child! And although I could sense the chemistry between the leads at the beginning somehow their relationship rushed a bit in the latter episodes... Nevertheless I am looking forward to the last two episodes.
This is when people swoop in and heroically dare to disagree with all of the amazing reviews. Some will have taken…
Sound valid. Every one can have their opinion, I don't care.
I just feel pity for those who will get influenced by bad reviews and won't watch it or with prejudices or something like that.. These are the disadvantages of MDL
I prefer watching dramas without any expectations, maybe that's why like you said my own experience with Lovely Runner and its unknown actors was especially fantastic for me :)
Why does MDL hate Lovely Runner so much? First almost next to nothing promotions through articles and now major spoilers for potenial viewers. The quality of this page is getting day by day worse...
Why are there so many negative reviews? It doesn't suit the 9.2 rating. I remember when this comment section was during airing almost exploding because of excitement and praise for this masterpiece. I think it is time to leave this comment section to not spoil my love for this drama. Bye everyone, it was a pleasure to fangirl with everyone of you when the drama was still ongoing. Soljae will always remain in my heart as one of my OTPs in drama land ๐
Amazing actress. Didn't know her before but stayed for her. Can't imagine anyone else who could play the role of charming Im Sol better. She nailed her role that good that anyone could understand why Ryu Sun Jae was spell bound by her and couldn't overcome his love for her more than decades.
