Yeah, I get what you're saying. Don't get me wrong, I love and had sympathy for TTJ too. But I never understood the level of vitriol for LSS. Because I completely understood her and her burden. I just felt so much empathy for them both despite all of their flaws, which is why I enjoyed both of their performances so much. Again, I can only speak for myself, but I really loved BL in it, and LSS and Sang Jiu. I just wish we got to see those deleted scenes so we got more of her and LYX's performance. That's the part that disappoints me. *sigh* But it is what it is....

I don't think he's a huge fan of those kinds of events in general, but the most likely reason is that he just started filming his new drama (Shui Long Yin) a couple of days ago and he probably doesn't have time.

I personally still understood why she did it in the drama too. She did what she had to do, despite her feelings. I didn't find her rigid, so much as deeply conflicted but determined. That's one of the reasons I loved her as a character. BL played it well.

Open ended. Sad but hopeful. Bittersweet with hints at a possible future HE.

One that is a load of crap to me is the top 10 character list. It was fanvoted (I believe) and Tantai Jin was on that list right up until a few days ago apparently. And now he's disappeared from it altogether. It's likely that when they found out that Luo Yunxi wouldn't be attending they just removed him from the list completely. Unfair, but it is what its - essentially an attendance award. They would never let someone who isn't going to be there win.

I think there are also some lists that wont be revealed until the award show. Related to "top ten dramas" and "OST" etc.

I thought she was amazing in TTEOTM. Li Susu might just be one of my all time favourite characters now.

Because As you wish is an Iqiyi show and Only for love wasn't made by iqiyi. It is a mango tv production that had a distribution deal with IQiyi.

Not sure about mjty. It wasn't as big of a production as sokp. So maybe that was a factor. Availability of the cast. They might have had filming commitments etc.

I don't think I'll ever get over Mysterious Bird. It is absolutely perfect. It's the kind of song that literally gives me goosebumps and makes my heart hurt (in a good way) even after 6 months of listening to it.

The drama is doing very well. LYN's performance in general is being received well too. Some nasty c-netizens don't like LYN's appearance and so used AI to replace with him with another actor. This will have no effect on the actual drama itself. The official version will remain LYN. You can relax.

It makes me a little concerned about what's coming later. I feel a fast burn now equals pain later on. But I love angst, so I'm kind of here for it.

I feel like we probably wont be getting anything overly steamy. This is LYN's first time doing onscreen kisses. He's still a bit shy in that regard. haha.

8.8 is still a really good score. More people have now watched than before. Some people also don't rate until they've completed the whole thing. And obviously not everyone is going to give this a 10/10 rating like many of the initial scorers did, so it's bound to go down a little. Maybe it'll go back up, maybe it won't. Regardless 8.8 is in no way bad.

He deserves all the praise and recognition.

As someone who also lives in Australia I can relate to this. I'm not looking forward to this summer at all.
