Yes. Liu Yuning and Liu Shishi (and Alen Fang as the SML, is hilarious!) I think its good. The leads are really wonderful together, but it's also got kind of an ensemble cast feeling. It's been a lot of fun so far. With a mixture of darkness and humour. First episode is slow admittedly, but it picks up after that.

I would think not. She has been popping up in a lot of drama's lately. Though....quite small parts. She's in A journey to love too. But she's literally only had a few scenes and to be honest, they really haven't been noteworthy scenes either. Like, I keep forgetting she's in it until she pops up again. lol So not particularly memorable. (at least not for me)

I guess I just assumed that they were expressing their disappointment that they both couldn't make it. Not that they meant anything bad or malicious by it. But that was just my take on it. I was simply trying to make peace ✌️ 😅 (& not doing a good job of it haha)

That's how I saw it. it's essentially, the ancient version of a road trip movie. lol it's the journey that counts not the destination. (although i'm sure plenty is going to go down when they reach it)

It's going to take a lot to keep up with that level of core strength. 🤣

In an earlier interaction with myself where I was explaining to someone else who asked why he wasn't attending they responded

"I was wondering why LYX isn’t coming! I thought BL came because of TTEOTM and KR? But then no word from LYX :/ I think it’s mainly because they literally just starting. The same with BL was missing out on those events LYX was in and performing because chasing the moon just started? "

I didn't see this as negative towards him at all. Again it was just acknowledging that he may not be a fan of those kinds of events (I don't see this as a bad thing personally, and I obviously can't speak for the other users, but maybe they don't either?) he's not getting an award and work has just started. So they're disappointed, but they get it.

But again... maybe i'm an idiot. I can be sometimes.

I scrolled down and read all of those comments. Including in interactions with myself. They said Bailu is filming right now but still attending, but they also acknowledged that she is a lot further along in the filming schedule and that LYX had just started shooting a few days ago so it was to be expected that he couldn't make it. That BL also had to miss events early on in her schedule too. So they acknowledged he was busy, not a big fan of those things, that they understood but it made them a bit sad.

I didn't see any of these comments as being negative towards him..... but hey, I don't know, maybe i'm an idiot and i'm the one reading the situation wrong.

Unless I missed something, I didn't see anyone blaming him for not attending that award ceremony. Except for a few people that genuinely asked why he wasn't going, because they didn't know, pretty much everyone here knew and understood why. That he didn't have time and that SLY filming was his priority right now. I didn't see any criticism of this. There was a joke about him probably not being too heartbroken over not being able to attend, but again, that wasn't criticism or blame. That was simply acknowledging that he isn't a huge fan of those events. Which is true, and not a bad thing. I know a few of us said it would have been nice to see him acknowledged and recognised in person, even if it was just a silly Weibo attendance award, but that's just because we love him. Not because we didn't understand why he couldn't be there.

We don't know for sure yet actually, but i'm thinking Yu Shi San and Chu Yue are going to be the main secondary couple.

No problem. I saw a similar image going around but I think it was an edit. But yeah, the way LYX described it was that he doesn't have fox blood/spirit, it's just his character traits that have given him the nickname "Tang Huli" (Fox tang)

So far, from what I've read his character seems really interesting. We know LYX can pull off being both gentle, arrogant and cunning at the same time.

Though I can't say i'm the biggest fan of the fur/feather thing he wore in the booting ceremony costume, (the rest of it is pretty though) other footage that has been going around of some of his other costumes look alright and he looks beautiful.

Unless I'm wrong, I don't think he's literally a fox spirit or anything like that. It's more to do with his personality being cunning and sly, like a fox. He gets labelled a fox (as like a nickname?) by others because of it.

he's already had a few different costumes just in the last couple of days. There's been a couple of really nice ones. There's footage of him in this gorgeous dark coat with fur. He was just walking amongst a crowd and the video quality wasn't the greatest but he looked amazing in it. 😍

Who knows how many he'll end up having by the end of the drama. Probably as many as he did in TTEOTM.

Probably. It looked so awkward though. I love him and YZ's chemistry and would love to see them paired up again in a drama where TJC gets to be the male lead. But TJC and Bai Lu could actually be a really interesting drama pairing too.

Liu Yuning is an OST king, lately it seems he has at least one song in most of the dramas I've watched. I've literally lost count. A favourite of mine that he did recently was the opening song for Till the end of the moon. gives me literal goosebumps.

I think so too. If it was happening further along in SLY's shoot, where he was able to have days off, he might have gone. But there was no way he'd ever delay shooting this early on. At the end of the of day, I really don't think he'd be too heartbroken about not being able to attend or anything. 🤣

It would have been nice to see him there, getting awards and recognition even if it was only Weibo. But I'm sure that will come later. Also would be nice to see him and BL stand together for something TTEOTM related again.....

🤣 I have no doubt they they always knew LYX not coming was a possibility. (or likelihood)
