I went to the TTEOTM-themed Family Mart convenience store today and finally got the stickers. I took high-resolution…
I love them! They're so cute. I especially love the one of TTJ, Susu and A Mi together. I take this as further proof of their eventual reunion and HE. lol.
the ending was so sadddd for me......but did monu and gongye jiwu end up together? How did qingyun get his powers?…
Ye Qingyu got his powers because Pian Ran gave him her heart/power. Which is also why he was able to live so long. It seems most of his scenes were cut from that final episode unfortunately. It's so obvious too... because he suddenly has white hair out of nowhere.
We can assume Mo Nv and Jiwu ended up together, I guess. But we don't know for sure. Scenes were cut out, and that's probably one of them.
The ending is really sad. I think we're all a little traumatised by it.... But at least it's open ended. With implications of a possible future return...or at least that's how a lot of us are looking at it.
If you're interested, the happy ending chapters of the novel's epilogue have been translated and posted on here.
As someone else said, it's an open ending. It's sad but there is hope too. I feel like it implies that the ML…
Exactly! Susu just has to wait for his spirit to cultivate and heal, for him to come back. & she's got plenty of time! She's not given up and neither have I 😂 Enjoy the ride. It's painful, but worth it!
But yeah, it's really fun to imagine their Love is Sweet characters as another version of them. The drama is super healing in general after the angst of TTEOTM. Their chemistry is amazing in that too. It also has some of the best on-screen kisses I've seen in C-Drama.
Is this worth watching? Are there sweet/cute moments as well?
There are definitely cute/sweet moments in it. But the romance is also very angst-ridden and tumultuous. It's not always a "nice" romance. Which is actually one of the reasons it appeals to me so much.
As someone else said, it's an open ending. It's sad but there is hope too. I feel like it implies that the ML will return one day, as he is not completely gone. (also from things the actors have said and what Youku have released since.) They hint at the novel's epilogue but we don't get to see it unfortunately. But if you take it like that, which I think most of us have, it's easier to swallow.
