I think for the stunt choreography we should remember that currently she's physically weak + no real chances to fully showcase her abilities.. actually a full feast of badass scenes from the start will make the show look dull and boring, so this is the perfect amount.

and yeah, it's early to complain about Cheng Lei acting and his character.

I think they added an arc or stretched one of the important ones that's why they're accelerating.. + given the fact that she didn't die like in the novel, it's possibly the reason why they're rushing to the main plot

4 episodes out of 36, the pace is acceptable, the acting is great, and I'm very satisfied as a novel reader.. even the changes they made to the story only made it better..

Talking about cinematography, for me it's not disappointing at all, the battle scenes (from both the trailer and the aired eps) actually gives off war vibes it looks quite realistic. + I think we should give it more episodes to discuss it deeply.

I'm a prisoner of this drama, I tried to hold back and watch it slowely, making myself busy with studies and housework but it's the first thing I think of after waking up, the last before I fall asleep.. I can't wait for the remaining episodes I wish they just drop it at one go.

+ I can't hate the cousin's decision, she's a simple woman who only wants her lover to be alright by her side.. and she's with a child, a pregnant woman decisions aren't always rational

I really can't get over this, I can't stop thinking about it.. what a shame the novel is male centric and XQA is a perv in it I can't read it without getting disgusted...

tbh, I was annoyed by this part of story too, but trust me and skip those scenes, you need to finish this one, it's a gem, you won't regret watching it till the end

for novel readers/whoever know; did the ending actually happened in the novel? Everyone forgot about him? If so, how will he live on? I know his father took him and probably will manipulate him, but I know too XQA is not someone to easily trick and manipulate, so what he's gonna do?
+ who are the actual villains? Aside from XQA father and the emperor.

I was really looking forward for it, I was so hyped up about seeing Lin Yi and Esther together, they didn't fail me as actors, they did great and I finished the show for them.. I hope to see them in better projects in the future~

Idk why the rating is so low :) love song in winter is such a masterpiece I really liked everything about it ! I loved the pace of it, I finished 20 episodes in two busy days, it quickly became one of my favorites !
I'm a person who loves mystery and serial kiIIer themes, that lady kilIer especialy took my heart, hehe...
Also, the chemistry? they made me giggle and kick my feet so many times :) they had such a mature soft love ~
Ignoring some small flaws here and there, a 10/10

It means the good parts are stronger than the flaws, the whole message and how it was delivered deserves this high rating, alone.

I get you, but you'll miss a great story if you let the flashbacks hold you back from watching the first frost :) the story is great and very deep
