If I didn't know the setting of this drama I would think it's some royal love story based on the cover XD anyway I just watched all the trailers and I'm really REALLY excited for it ✨
This is just a thought, but as it's not logical how she called him and they met after months of hiding from him, I know there's another reason why she left, it's the same reason why she called him back again.. The way she bravely threatened that man, there's no way she'll just disappear right after that.. I had this idea before, we novel readers know that that man is a killer, and since they made his character much more creepier that I'm sure there's more than one victim.. in the novel, the one who reported him was the cousin's wife who overheard a conversation about it, but in the drama the cousin is living alone while the rest of the family are with WYF' mom, and we all saw how that man looks at the step-sister.. so now she's the one to overheard right? and she'll tell wyf?? that's why she told Si Qiao she's protecting them??
This is my wild conclusion, 90% wrong.. WYF is preparing to report that man what will result in death sentence (she only have some clues that's why she couldn't do it right away)
Anyway, don't take me seriously, I'll be proven wrong and delusional tomorrow ❤️
It just doesn't make sense.. she run away, spent months alone before she called him and told him where she's, than they reunited happily.. yeah...
what you said happened 8 years ago in the story and she already left and took her alone time. her running away…
bch just stfu u started to annoy the hell out of me !! tf do u expect a SA survivor who lived in fear of being R worded every day for fkin 2 years to forget about everything and heal within 8 years of alone time ?? are u nuts?? do the world a favor and kys
idk how I managed to finish ep 25.. I've been crying since the first 5 minutes of ep 24 .. she really went through a lot .. I can't even blame her for any decision she made, I only want to hold her in my arms and bury this disgusting family alive.. I won't blame SY if he did it himself, rather I support him.. I hope her upcoming reunion with SY will give her enough strength to overcome that rainy day..
My final opinion on the change is; they did it right, it wasn't a necessary change but I loved that they made it. I honestly think that at this stage of events the drama is better than the novel, two whole episodes about her trauma, how it all started, how she lived with it, and why she chose to run away again.. I relate to her, last year, I've been through something really traumatic that made me decide to cut ties with everybody, but somehow I had a conversation with my closest friend, if it wasn't for her telling me things I wanted to hear since ages, my most precious friendships would be already over.. But still, I'm not better than Wen Yifan, sometimes all I think about is how better their lifes would be without me, how a burden I am to them, and the things that trigger this thoughts in me are as simple as a familiar name, a familiar place..
I'm saying this again, a woman is a woman, strong or weak, cheerful or gloomy, smart or stupid, reasonable or unreasonable, she's still a human deserving of love and understanding, even if Wen Yifan is only a character in a show, there's so many Wen Yifan around us.. if you don't have empathy for this fictional Wen Yifan when you know her story, how will you treat a real Wen Yifan who can't tell you everything?
Umm hello I never saw someone say she did the right thing most people here said it wasn't the best decision then…
Did you know that the main reason why we're arguing is because some are 'hating' and ignoring WYF trauma just because they feel sorry about SY ? that's why everyone here now are defending her
I think after reading everyone’s comments and also chatting with some people there’s something that needs…
Yes, in the novel it was mentioned that two months after the father died, the mother was already pregnant with her new husband' child (had an abortion)
Basically childhood and teenager years are what builds one personality, and wyf foundation was awful, only two people cared about her and after one of them died her life became even worse..
tbh not many people will turn this pure hearted after living with this kind of family like wyf did
Mdl turning into a fighting comment section should be studied. It used to be so wholesome few years ago.. now…
It's not about opinions, it's about morals and common sense, they're heavely hating on a female character that represent too many serious issues we other women go through daily.. we should not respect things like this, because many of them are the same people who will shame victims irl
using their ages as a argument is not valid theres many 20 to 30 year olds who dont have any maturity or emotional…
Love will never be enough to heal you when you're still hiding from your nightmare.. I thought WYF sleepwalking was enough proof that she's just in love and happy, not recovered
