I'm guessing you don't like their characters? Because you can't really tell the personality of the actors from their roles. I think the director made a good choice in making Deng Lun and Leo male lead and second male lead respectively. Leo's a really good actor that looks great in white, and is just naturally very easy to like. Run Yu is a perfect fit for him. Meanwhile Deng Lun has the stage presence of a king in this drama, and it would be odd if he played the kind and quiet Run Yu.
This looks like such a confusing drama based on the pictures. Like we've got Wang Yibo with a light saber? The main cast wearing robes you see in guzhuang? But also they wear a lot of modern clothes too?
I'm sorry but this was a 6.5/10 or a 7 MAX. Don't get me wrong, it was still a good drama because of its great…
I actually think the FL was developed fine. She just wants to be free, and away from the darkness of politics. There's a huge difference between Xiao Feng in episode 1 and Xiao Feng in episode 55. One cares far more about romance than the safety of her family, and the other is willing to place peace over her own life. But I agree with the fact that the beginning was the best and the end was a really great tie. One thing that I really love about this drama is the character of Li Chengyin, which is much more developed than your average ML. The on-and-off thing makes sense because the ML can't show his love for her, but he also doesn't want to make it seem like he hates her when their alone or with their closest servants. The tragedy of it isn't just because of misunderstanding like in some other dramas which makes me kind of feel annoyed. Xiao Feng and Li Chengyin could never be together, and the underlying feeling of knowing they will undeniably end in tragedy, even as she falls for him again and they have these moments of sweetness. This is melodrama done right!

I respect that you don't like watching kisses but what's wrong with the female lead? Yang Zi is a really great actress and she has a very nice and natural personality as well.
I like her acting and presence in love a lifetime. she is a star. she does need to straighten her teeth in cosmetic…
ah so you are another troll I suppose (I hope because these stupid beauty standards are so hurtful). She doesn't need to straighten her teeth, also there isn't anything wrong with her teeth either?
This is Zhang Huiwen's page, why are you mentioning Yukee? (I mean I see you've basically filled Yukee's page with hate, but please don't spread it to places where it makes zero sense. Have these two acted in a drama together? Nope. Have they been in a movie together? Nope. Have they been in a drama with similar costars? Nope!)
Li Yi Tong is one of the best of the 90's born Chinese actresses out there. She honestly picks a lot of really…
now that she's made a place for herself among female actresses I hope she gets more picky with choosing scripts. More things like Bloody Romance, Royal Nirvana or LOCH please!
I watched the few episodes of this drama and i feel like vomiting cause there is a lot of extreme kissing scenes…
? There are like three kisses in total. And except for that one kiss in particular which I hope you can understand from just that wording, all of them were extremely plain in comparison to like American dramas.
She is a monkey (astrology animal sign). She is gona annoy us in as many drama as possible. She is a beauty and…
LMAOOOOO imagine thinking Zhao Min from heavenly sword is naive, gullible and inexperienced. and dropping love lasts two minds because SHE's monotonous, and not because Yu Menglong has one expression? Okay sure. I mean if you think analyze a persons potential based off of astrology I am not surprised you managed to miss all of this. Given that Zhao Min, Liu Ying, Tuoba Di and Chong Xuezhi are four very distinct types of roles... obviously she can play more than one type. I agree that her recent two characters have been kind of boring though. But that's not her problem, that's the scriptwriters problem.
I want her to act more badass roles! Her Liu Ying and Zhao Min were amazing! Yes her acting isn't the best, but the boring and unlikable characters she play in her recent two dramas are more of the problem. https://movie.douban.com/celebrity/1364925/photo/2536801874/ I mean look how badass she is in just a still picture!
I do think the amount of hate geared towards Lin Yun in China is disgusting, but I have to admit her acting is not good. Her expressions are way too animated. I love Zhang Xincheng to death but I do not have high expectations for this (hopefully I'll be proven wrong). Adaptations of Japanese dramas/Korean dramas have never gone well, Lin Yun's acting is mediocre at best, and his hairstyle is not the best here. Only plus is that apparently Lang Lang did the piano directing and Zhang Xincheng can already play too!
it literally isn't even Detective Chinatown anymore! Where's the "Chinatown"?
I was asking about episodes 9 and on aka the episodes where they went to that island and played the game. Lin Mo's arcs are easy to argue for because they do take place in Thailand's Chinatown.
Your face is not childishAnd you are not beautifulYou are Zhang Hui Wen stay away from younger actorsHope it does…
I know this person is a troll but I just get so angry at these comments. These comments are why the Chinese entertainment industry is toxic af. Why should I not respond to your words when they are stupid, sexist and blatantly rude? Do you seriously think 26 is old? Do you seriously? Whether or not you're a troll, I just hate seeing comments like these because what the fuck are you trying to say? That Wang Yibo should solely pair up with toddler actresses because everyone else is "too old". Next thing you know a three-month old baby will be "too old" and we need to look for babies yet to be born to act as female leads (yes this is an exaggeration like OPs comment, but at least I wrote mine in a coherent fashion that people can actually understand). Are you trying to write a poem with these words or something? Like if you want to write a poem in English please actually learn grammar first. You sound like a baby. And finally an actual point - Wang Yibo does not need to pair up with young actresses, especially if those young actresses can't actually act. It's 5000% more effective for him to act as male lead in a drama with a female lead that is more mature, steady in the industry, and can act because then people will actually want to watch it. Younger does not equal better. One of the most important criteria when watching a show is acting ability not looks or age. If you only want Wang Yibo to be cast as the male lead opposite teenagers then he'll end up accepting a strand of semi-successful at best dramas which will eventually blow out his popularity. He is very smart for choosing to act opposite Zhao Liying in a mature production that will definitely be successful even if the ratings are horrible (which I don't think will happen but still).
It's probably fake but what if?
