i must ask, is the rummers of him being gay are true?
Most likely no (not that it matters). He's dealt with a lot of rumors because he's outspoken and has progressive views, so people assumed all kinds of things about him that aren't true.

Yoo Ah In: “I really do not understand why the older woman involved in a relationship with age difference should suffer criticism. A man who gets involved in a relationship with 19 years difference in age will be considered capable, while a woman involved in a relationship with 19 years difference in age is always discriminated, even regarded as dirty. I really cannot understand why, and this is the society we live in.”

np! :D Keep in mind that most TWdramas are heavy on the cheese, like i'm talking clogged arteries here. But it's worth it if you're in the mood for that and you want something different than the typical Kdrama/Jdrama tropes.

I'm watching In A Good Way, Boku no Ita Jikan, and Secret Love Affair. SLA is slaying me and it's only been one week, I don't even know how to handle all the flawlessness tbh.

What's your favorite drama that you're currently watching?

before I start watching, is the woman married? If someone has watched it please answer me, me watching it depends…
Yes, but it's more complex than that, so please give it a try before passing up on it based on that fact alone.

He's freaking amazing in Secret Love Affair, he makes typical Kdrama actors look like amateurs in comparison

The currently airing TWdrama "In A Good Way" is definitely a really great one. It's more low-key and episodic, not really soap-opera material like the average drama. It's cheesy, but it has so much going on for it, especially a few episodes in.
Other ones that most people liked are "In Time With You", "Devil Beside You", and "Autumn's Concerto." You could start off with Taiwanese movies like "Secret" or "Starry Starry Night" if you want to try out something shorter ^^

You don't like Taiwanese dramas? Which ones did you try, because there /are/ some good ones out there I could recommend...(but I agree, the majority are subpar)

It's actually not *that* sad in terms of the tone the drama has...it has lots of comedic/light parts that make it significantly less depressing than 1 Litre. Also, it's a lot more fast-paced and optimistic :D
I agree, it's definitely worth watching it because the life lessons are memorable and important. There are so many dramas that focus on the "happily-ever-after" myth, so we all need a dose of reality here and there to keep us grounded

Yup, that's the one ^^ I really hope it doesn't disappoint

It was an awesome episode! So many cute and hilarious moments :)

I'm also watching Boku no Ita Jikan (http://mydramalist.com/japanese-drama/8507/boku-no-ita-jikan), which is slightly similar to 1 Liter of Tears (except it has some comedy and a general lighter tone to it which makes it slightllly less heartbreaking. slightly T_T).
I'm gonna start watching Secret Love Affair this week! \o/ I'm already shipping them like crazy

Title The Hours of My Life Spoiler
EWWW,Ewwww, did Shige-douche as$$ole said that? "How long the person will live?"!!! Shige-douche you…
IA. He's been a possessive creep all along, I don't know why people were on his side. Just because he was observant enough to notice Takuto's issues doesn't mean he actually cared for him :/ He just used the information for his own advantage. He sees everything as a competition and he only takes it easy on Takuto at times because he sees him as a losing competitor anyway. So disgusting...

When this drama started to air i wanted to watch this but i couldn't even finish ep1 it was so boring to me !…
I'm glad you're enjoying it now! ^^ I agree, IAGW was totally different in the first few episodes, people should really give it a chance because it only picks up steam a few episodes in. The character development alone is amazing, and the focus isn't on shallow issues like in most dramas.

Megumi is kinda dumb... how can she not sense that something is wrong? -_-
[spoiler] To be fair, she hadn't seen him for a year since they broke up...his symptoms weren't as conspicuous at the time. Also, from previous misunderstandings they had (like the full-time worker comment), we know that she tends to blame herself first. She just has some insecurities
