I caved and watched the 3rd episode because I feel like I've been scammed in the best possible way. I had no expectations for this because of the summary, but oh my. It's so funny, even with the messed up subs.
Two episodes in and I am loving it. The casting is great, the story seems to be well-thought-out and written. I am especially loving that ML's character isn't flat. ML has different sides to his personality, and Gao Han Yu's portrayal of him is superb. And absolutely love how firm the FL is by breaking up with the ex. The only drawback is the bad translation (the translation made understanding why he was upset with her cooking in the office seems odd considering their business, but if you think about it, there are a variety of valid reasons for why a boss wouldn't want employees cooking in the office. )
I'm so glad she hashed it out with her ex in front of their colleagues. Everyone should know that not only is he a cheat, but he's also a downright scammer and thief.
I enjoyed it for the most part, but it's just something to pass the time with rather than a memorable show. Mental health as the driving theme was badly handled, the same plot (having the uncle pretend to be evil twice to weed out the bad guys) was used twice. Generally, it was just a lot of sloppy writing/direction/editing.
Dai Xiang Yu played the hell out of his character and for that Zhu Li was my favourite character.
This drama is simply not good. At all. I expected more from both leads of the drama, as I've watched them in multiple…
The story is bad. Everything (characters and their personal struggles included) is shallow and superficial. There is nothing subtle about the story because the overused tropes and cringe is just very in your face. I'm halfway through 6 and seriously feeling like I'm going to drop this.
Listen, ya'll can hate me all you want. I loved the actors, but this drama really did a disservice to the novel.…
I agree, actors did well, but the story and over exaggerated situations, character motivations and situations make the actors and actresses look so bad.
Let me tell you all, the current synopsis is incorrect. The FL is not married, nor does she have a child, so I'm…
That sounds way more watchable, cause no way would a court give her custody if she's working a time demanding and very dangerous job. The marriage and child storyline just sounds ridiculous with everything else.
Last eps was good… SBS won! Though I don’t really get why they have to dramatize it n got him injured right…
I think the accident was less for the dramatics and more to show that he's persistent. A teaching moment: if you continue to push for your goal, you might just succeed against the odds.
Is there a love triangle? And if there is how bad is it? It's the only thing possibly stopping me from watching.…
Its more of a love circle since leads only like each other. The girl trying to butt in is really just an annoyance circling around but has very little effect.
Aww it ended... I love it so much. They are so cuteeee! I wish they could continue their story where they both…
I usually hate second seasons because the characters and plot are often unnecessarily drawn out. But this ended so well I actually would love to see a season 2 of them on the national team
Aww that ending was sweet. An Yu never disappoints when it comes to kiss scenes.Anyways, I really liked it. It…
Yes. When i first say the banner I assumed it would be bad, but then I started it and saw WAY and was like ok, this has to be worth the watch. He does not disappoint. All the actors and actresses did a really good job.
Overall, a really great watch. Chemistry between characters is really good, especially the leads. I think all the actors played their roles to the T. Story had a final plot point it was heading to and wasn't just romance, college or sports fluff.
And I love the way it ends so succinctly, no unnecessary frills or wrap ups. We know exactly where all characters are plot wise, and all story arcs are dealt with. 10/10 would recommend watching
I know I shouldn't be saying this but bad things do happen to good ppl n bad people succeed cause omg! she bust…
I blame her completely. He told her from the beginning that romantic relationships between skating partners is a no no, and yet she continued harboring such thoughts. If she had walked away then it wouldn't have happened. And even after the accident she continued to glue herself to him without feeling guilty or conflicted about how he almost lost his entire career because of her. The fact that she liked him, and purposefully moved into his girlfriend's dorm was also giving hella creepy stalker vibes.
i hope coach xiao gets fired by the end even tho im guessing SZY will win and everyone forgives him but he deserves…
Right. How he and probably the previous coach were treating the other girls like second rate athletes was the reason they were so demoralized and scared of change. He and his awful sister annoys me.
Xiao Han been getting on my nerves. He's so self-righteous and his guilt driven goal to make Xiao Yi a champion was what had the team infighting with low morale.
Dai Xiang Yu played the hell out of his character and for that Zhu Li was my favourite character.
