I just recently found out that this was a chinese remake of one of my favorite lakorn, I don't usually watch short dramas, there's only been about four which I was able to watch and one of those are Fan Zhi Xin's work. So, I gave this a shot since I also liked him. On episode 13 and this is really different from the Thai version. It started out good but the story gradually went downhill as I continue watching more episodes, I really didn't like how they wrote the FL in this one. Like, she made her feelings for the ML very obvious so quickly that it didn't feel like they were really playing the 'game', her character just seriously came out weak for me. Their so called game felt rather confusing, with the FL's feelings constantly fluctuating one second she says she hates him but then by the next she is head over heels for him and is jealous. Also, there was this really funny scene which I can't just keep my brain shut about. I cringed so hard when I watched it. It's the scene of FL getting kidnapped and she somehow ends up drowning although she wasn't literally in the water but just getting splashed and ML does cpr on her afterwards 😭 and water came out of her mouth for some reason.

Don't worry I have the same problem as you, I am a chronic dropper...dropped about 200+ dramas just by their initial eps too. This one managed to hook me, although can't guarantee for you but I hope you try to reach until ep 11 atleast before dropping.

I didn't say it was bad or worst, but rather 'not impactful' and I said 'that might' which doesn't pertain to being absolute as the starting of this drama had differing opinions and I am only suggesting for op to continue watching if they ever feel that at the start. I also loved silly LQY too 😊

The beginning isn't as impactful and one that might make you reluctant to continue watching, however, if you manage to hang on until you reach episode 11 ; this is where the whole plot changes as everything you knew from the beginning turns out something completely different from what you'd assumed, this mark is where I can say that it's good and worth watching. Although this drama has romance in its genre, the story centers more onto the 'feud' between the main leads but don't be discourage as there are few episodes that had their sweet moments in them. This drama is heavy on the angst rather than the fluff. Their misunderstanding up to this point of the drama has not been fully resolved yet but we are gonna get there. The leads didn't reincarnate but rather the FL's primordial spirit transferred to another body, and as for the main leads' memories it's all intact, although what they remember are entirely different due to their differing perspectives.
