I've been watching xianxia for years now and this type of ending is really new, specifically the changing of the past without altering the present. It is a perfect ending because I initially would have preferred a SE since I couldn't see how this can have a HE like YZ said but they concluded it so well.

I finally completed watching Feud last night, the ending is not something I was expecting given the producer had already given spoilers about it. The way they concluded their story couldn't have been any better, it was a meaningful ending for me that ties well to the narrative of the story. I thought I would be feeling empty after finishing it but its afterglow left me with so many thoughts in mind.
