TEDIOUS. PONDEROUS. PRETENTIOUS. There is no message here. Just vapid, bumper-sticker platitudes posing as poetic…
I like your comment but 'My Mister' has some of the same problems of being utterly illogical and characters behaving illogically... You write how this guy falling in love with this older woman as illogical - I totally agree. The writer/director obviously know his target audience.. However even though I watched 'My Mister' some time ago I can equally say the ML behave very illogical in that show also. As far as I remember the FL pretty much offered herself to him but he refused her to keep their relationship "pure". Any guy who has had their wife cheat on them getting a chance to get together with a younger pretty girl like the ML in 'My Mister' would have jumped at the opportunity - that show is also illogical as fuck.
I thought it couldn't get more stupid than what I wrote before but this writer made these NK spies so braindead that it's crazy. Episode 8 managed to top the idiocy. Yea lets tie the ANSP agent in a room where no one is keeping watch when he's the most dangerous of the hostages. Also lets let the guy live that just tried to kill that one unlucky NK spy who keeps getting screwed over. That guy not having killed a single hostage yet after getting screwed over time and time again is crazy.
This drama is until now (episode 7 for me) pretty fun to watch but holy shit is this stupid. The fact that no students die when there are bullets flying everywhere? Also the fact that so many characters stand up to the NK spies yet doesn't get killed off?. In real life the last thing people in their situation want is some of the hostages standing up to them and trying to control and taking charge. They have so many other hostages they'd have shot down the troublemakers right away. The housemother Pi would have gotten a bullet to her head right away. The female and male ANSP agents would have gotten killed. The grandmother reaching for the rifle? How is she still alive - she'd have gotten shot down right away before they'd realize she was not going to shoot. The female lead is the only one who might have gotten some leeway due to the fact that she saved ML but even she would probably have gotten a bullet to her head by one of the other spies had this drama not been so stupid. Also the female ANSP agent messing up the phone situation due to being emotional and yet getting chosen to infiltrate the dorm with the doctor? Are you really telling me she'd be chosen after proven she's unreliable? Bad writing. In short: You need to hide away your brain to enjoy this drama because damn it's stupid.

You are so right man. And I agree with you it was a pretty mediocre movie if not outright bad. Also when talking about pretentiousness then it's the height of pretentiousness to claim someone is wrong in their opinion because they don't understand "art" the way the other guy is doing towards you. That said it's not a surprise someone liking this trash movie would be equally pretentious as the movie itself.
To all the kids ( that shouldn't be watching this anyway) google "walk away wives". It's a super quick read. It…
I'm not really sure about the point of this? I don't really see anyone having a problem with the women "walking away" from the relationships or divorcing in here. Also when searching this on google this "explains" why some women feel the need to just walk away or divorce - not really why it's hard for women to just walk out.. I mean not that it's needed to be explained because it's fairly obvious why just walking away is hard but just because something is hard to do doesn't mean that it's a valid excuse for cheating.
You do know that a woman wrote the story right? And it's based on a josei manga which are mangas targeted female…
I don't get why you still don't understand this but there is no such thing as objective "basic" needs. In life everyone has different needs. Your needs in a relationships might not be the same as mine. The needs of my mother might not be the same as your mother etc. What I want in a marriage/relationship might not be the same as you and as such then my expectations in a spouse might not be the same as yours. We do not have the same needs and therefore there is no such thing as objective "basic" needs. In this movie the needs of the FL was fulfilled that's why she decided to be with ML. Heck this movie even introduced the ex-boyfriend into the story to make this even more obvious. The FL had the choice to go with the ex-boyfriend but she still chose the ML because he fulfilled what she wanted in a relationship. The entire point of the ex-boyfriend in the movie was to show the viewer that the FL had other options but still went with the ML. The writer also introduced the abandoned child into the story to show the viewer that the FL and ML are meant for each other by giving them a chance to play family with a child. We as viewers gets a glimpse into the possible future life of the couple when they eventually have a child of their own. The FL in the movie enjoyed being a family with a child together with ML.
Lots of angry triggered males in the comments…wonder what they would say if it was the other way around… laughable.
You could equally say that this comment section is flooding with hypocritical women that would write otherwise had the roles been reversed. Also most of the comments if not all are fine with some of the women in the drama ending up happy even though they cheated.
Thanks, best I stay away, I figured as such, thanks for letting me know, most appreciated... :)))
Why are you giving him wrong information man. The guy doesn't wanna watch a movie where the wife "cheats" (he included wavering feelings in that) and you keep giving wrong information. The woman did have feelings for the other guy and admits she dreamt of fucking him. She also ends up lying to her husband about phone calls from this the other guy.
PS: I know that it's a late reply but this is mostly for other people in the same situation - so they don't get tricked into a movie they might not like.
Well, that was kind of a slap in the face in terms of closure. If " I can't have him, no one else can" was a movie,…
I mean it kinda depends on the situation. If you end up divorced because of cheating and you do so in an otherwise good marriage then I'd say the divorce does mean you're a failure at marriage. That said everyone can change and how would other people know the reason for your divorce anyway. Also if you've been divorced 3+ times it kinda gets into the territory that maybe you are bad at being married or at least bad at picking the right spouse.
I heard that there are secondary couples. In my case I always tend to pay more attention to those. Could let me…
You gave information about Saya claiming she was not cheating. I was giving an example and unless you can say that if your husband did the same while getting a handjob that you do not consider that cheating then you are giving information that's not "correct". You obviously avoided giving an answer which to me indicate that you would consider that cheating.
I heard that there are secondary couples. In my case I always tend to pay more attention to those. Could let me…
If your husband did the same as Saya and got stopped only by a coincidence would you not consider that cheating? And Saya did kiss and let him kiss her. When the phone call happened she was getting fingered by him. If your husband was getting a handjob and only stopped due to getting a phone call and the girl asking him to pick the phone up wouldn't you consider it cheating?
They don't end up together, for she pities her husband the most at the very end. Sadly to say, in my humble opinion.
The most idiotic thing is that she's the one that deserved ending up with her lover the most of everyone. Yet she's the one ending up alone (but at least still happy). The writer instead let some of the worse women end up happily married and still cheating - what a dumb drama.
Your comment is . . . disturbing. Why the specificity about female infidelity? It's only bad if women do it? Also,…
Yes it does when the show has multiple stories (6 women) and they all ends up with no negative consequences of their cheating but only happy at the end. Then the show is 100% encouraging or glorifying women cheating. How many dramas do you see with men cheating getting no negative consequences? And even if you can name one then how many dramas do you see with multiple stories of men cheating with everyone ending up positive at the end? In most dramas the writer will at least mix it up and some end up happy while others end up with negative consequences. Also how many of those dramas are defended on here the way people on here are defending cheating in this drama. This writer could have easily made at least two of the women get some negative consequences (Yuka and Yuriha) but the writer purposely chose to have even those two be happy in the end and as such is no doubt glorifying women cheating.
You know what, it is horrible rude to 1. point out that this is a women scriptwriter. 2. hope that she is cheated…
I know life is not fair but this is not real life this is a show. This show specifically encourage cheating by having all the girls cheating not getting any negative consequences but only positive consequences. There is not a single woman out of all these women that had any negative consequences which means this entire show with multiple stories is pure one-sided. Based on your comment I can tell that you are not smart enough to see this and is just out here trying to defend female cheating and pretend this drama doesn't glorify women cheating by having all the women get something positive out of cheating.
I heard that there are secondary couples. In my case I always tend to pay more attention to those. Could let me…
Saya cheated more than Hisako. Saya went up and was about to fuck the other guy but got stopped due to a random phone call. I'd consider that cheating - especially more than Hisako. Hisako "cheated" with her husband. Yes she didn't know but she had also kicked her husband out so I'm not sure whether I consider that cheating - at least she's the most blameless. That said out of all the women only three felt really bad to me. Saya, Yuka and Yuriha. The other women were excused some more than others though.
Unpopular opinion: infidelity dramas aren't as bad as you think...! People are tearing this drama to pieces even…
In some cases you are right but this drama 100% did glorify and justify cheating. Also 3 of the women didn't have any negative consequences of their cheating. Two of those three women were shown to still be married and cheating happily at the end. Heck the only two women that had any consequences of their cheating was the women that wanted these consequences.

Japan is clearly more "open" to porn than other Asian countries. This should be obvious by looking at the porn industry of each country. I guess that's kind of why they are also more open to sex scenes and "softcore" porn in movies/shows. That said South Korea is not far behind - especially when concerning movies.
Umm..I have really mixed feelings about this one :1- i HATE how they tried to give the "main husband" a redemption…
Whether they all ended up cheating or not depends on what you consider cheating. In my opinion they pretty much all ended up cheating. Saya just got stopped because of a sudden phone call but was willing to cheat and would have without the phone call. If my spouse did what she did I'd consider that cheating. Hisako "cheated" but just didn't know that was her husband... Sakura and Noriko were kind of excused but they should have spoken up and left. In the case of Sakura then she's more excused than Noriko. They both ended up divorced so that's a good ending. The worst women were Saya, Yuriha and Yuka and I don't think any of those were excused. The dumb part is that they all gets to stay with their husbands which took this drama way down and made it obvious that this drama just wanted to justify women cheating.
