Agree, LYX is great and I also can't wait for her to take on more serious roles. Likewise, I also think a lot of comedic elements are out place. The drama itself is natural funny but the background sound to emphasis that was a character is saying or doing is funny is overkill. The audience already knows that it's supposed to be funny.

I feel you. I wasn't really feeling it the first 5 episode too. Maybe because this was one of my most anticipated drama for this year and I was hoping for something different. The chemistry didn't really work for me either. Lol it's the second couple that kept me going but after episode 6 I started to really like it.

To each their own. Loved the FL in I am Nobody and ML in L&P and was excited for this one. It has all the elements that I want but for some reason I just couldn't connect with it.

Definitely! There were some parts that I thought was rushed/ wasn't explain properly but overall still pretty good for an ending. Lol there were definitely some worse endings in other cdramas

Haha that's me too.. I lost it a long time ago with the grandma, dog, and grandma's story. The director should have cut them out as they don't add much to the main storyline

So that's what it is... I was trying to pinpoint what was off about this drama and you're right. It's the lack of direction, transition, and explanation. I'm on ep 5 and we know that ML kills FL but after she re-birth other than the one slap and some small bickering.. she all of a sudden starts teaming up with him.. like what? The drama failed to convey how deep their relationship in the past. Yes, they were lovers.. but so what? What made their relationship so special? Sure he killed her in the past but before that, how good was their relationship? Other than the small flashback we can't be certain. After her re-birth we learned that she once was married. If she was married, when did she meet the ML? Before or after her marriage? These are key things that the audience should know so we know to root for them or if the audience should be cautious of the ML.
My other pet peeve is that we know nothing about any of these characters that show up through out the episodes. They just pop up and we get a mini flashback of how horrible they were, but that's it? These flashback should have been shown before she reincarnated so we are aware of them when we see them again after birth (like they did in Blossom). Sure these characters have history with the FL but to the audience they are new.
This is quite a disappointment because I was really looking forward to this drama airing.
at first I thought they made provide some lightheartedness in this drama but maybe not.. I'm only on ep 14
Their scenes for me is getting really repetitive. I feel that for a drama like this where the main leads are having a slow burn romance, the second leads should provide some contrasts (fast romance & lightheartedness) to keep the audience engaged while the MLs figure themselves out and get together. Here, I personally think they become a drag that I would prefer to skip them and go back to the slow burn couple.
