Exactly! It's always bad against good, so it's refreshing to the viewers to get a drama of the "bad guys" trying to be good/better

Same. Ironically, I wasn't even interested in this drama. I had the other airing drama on my PTW for the longest time and decided to give this a 1 ep try (for GJ and because I watched TBOY) while I'm waiting for the other to air... but here I am dropping the other one to finish this. Goes to show that sometimes the unexpected is sometimes better

I was literally going to ask the same thing. It took me awhile to get used to but now I love it. It adds to his character,

I'm on ep. 19 and SMY wants to go incognito so no one knows him as the Umbrella ghost but chooses to wear bright red. I'm not complaining since he looks really good in red. Lol I finally understand the hype of him in red from the earlier comments now.

Haha same. The way I screamed when I saw LHY in here and seeing her story in TBOY made me miss TBOY so much.

Same. The dramas released recently were pretty good, but nothing that kept me at the edge of my seat like this one.

Anyone know why SMY and SCH went with the Su family when they chose their family?

Same! I didn't watch DY but watched TBOY and I'm still trying remember who is who and who belongs to what sect. BR doesn't make it easier since they have 3 families and they all play critical roles.

The only issue I have with this drama is that there are too many darn names. Lol I really have to look up on MDL every 2 seconds when names are mentioned for me to understand who they are talking about. Does anyone know if there is a relationship chart of all the characters?

That brings up another question, what does SCH mean when he said he became a Lantern children on behalf of SMY. Where was SMY then? Was SMY also not a lantern children?

From what I saw in BOY, I don't think SMY and SCH have any childrens/disciples but these drama is from their POV so that might change.


Long story short, you don't have to watch the other shows to understand this one. The characters does reappear and we will probably see some events shown in the other show but this is a stand alone piece. The drama has done a pretty good job fill in the audience so that they don't get lost if they haven't seen the other shows.

I kind of feel the same way. I started this drama for LYX and I am not saying that she's doing a bad job but something is off about this character. I have seen many of her pervious works so I know she can pull it off but it didn't work for me here.
