Has anyone read novel? if yes please tell me the the summary of it
Yes, I read the novel.
ML and FL leads are both extremely rich, ML is more rich than FL. They are in an arranged marriage. There are a few things that set their marriage apart from the other arranged marriages that we have seen.
1. FL and ML are actually not strangers to each other. They met and knew of each other from a young age since they lived in the same neighborhood.
2. The don't hate each other. In public, they put on an act that they are an affectionate couple but in private they rarely interact. The both kind of just live their own life and don't interfere with what the other person is doing.
3. They are intimate with each other. Lol I know.. shocker! They sleep with each other but aren't in love.. haha if that makes sense.
The novel starts 3 years into their married life. ML was away for a year on a business trip and recently returned. Through out the book, we see the MC learn about each other and eventually fall in love.
Cen Sen is a workaholic but is extremely caring towards his wife. He will destroy anyone who upsets her.
Ji Ming Shu is our self-centered socialite that is super loyal to her friends and family. She's a materialistic gal and that's how she likes it. She can be unreasonable and frustrating at times, but I still love her.
Can nxg communicate with ly though? She got confessed while in relationship her boyfriend deserves to know what…
Maybe it she will bring it up in the future episodes??
I'm totally fine with her not bringing it up too. Maybe to her, she and XZ are in the past. Probably thought it's no longer worth mentioning anymore.
I do love that LYS saw that something was bothering her but decided not to push it. NXG is the type that when she feels that it's needed and she's ready, she will tell him.
Currently on ep 22Hold on a damn minute... I knew he was pushing her buttons on purpose but all this time, he…
I think it only lasted for one episode and I'm glad it happened. I remember when it aired people were calling the separation episode a filler and that it was boring, which I think wasn't. He does need to stay away from her to work out his feelings. It's healthy to see couples tell each other they need time and space.
I feel like after we got to know about the Shengs, Lin’s perspective makes more sense. The last 2 years after…
Exactly! And I feel that his revenge towards her wasn't crazy over the top either. Sure, it was kind of dumb, but we can see that he still cared for her even when he was angry.
Also, we have unfortunately seen MLs done way worse than LYS.
In the very beginning of the show, wayyy earlier episodes, I even had instances where I felt bad for ZX. But as…
I felt bad for him in the first 3 ep because I felt like I could make excuses for him. Understandable that someone from his background would feel how he feels but after he keeps saying crap to her, I couldn't excuse it anymore. The wine spilling scene was the last straw. The ML also confessed right after that.
Why would FL want to go back to a person like the SML when the ML has always been supportive and kind to her?
I agree with you! The people who say this is boring, they want toxicity and misunderstandings, fights and arguments,…
Literally, this drama is not boring. I think it's actually great to see the MLs get to know each other and then date. Goes to show that a healthy relationship does exist, and what's being showcased in entertainment isn't all fighting and miscommunications.
What if Zhaung Xu had confessed earlier, would they be together now? I don't think so. Yu Sen is not one of choice…
I agree. I think that even if ZX confessed and they got together earlier, they would still break up. His ego and pride would be in the way of their relationship and it wouldn't last long. ZX is the type of people that only regrets when he realizes that he has lost.
"He looks alot older than his actual age" that's a stretch ma'm,he looks like he's in his late 20's,everyone…
I saw a lot of comments here, and maybe I wasn't making myself clear enough, I'm not talking about him now, I was referring to him when he first started. I first saw him when he was in his early 20s. I wasn't just me who thought so, there were also a lot of comments at that time online with people being surprised of how young he was since they expected him to be a lot older. Just like how people were surprised when The Double came out and found out WXY's age. My comment was to say that I personally think he is better suited for more mature roles because he already has that mature aura to him.
SWL's drama are usually hit or misses for me and I didn't really like his recent dramas. It might be because he looks a lot older than his actual age. This one has definitely taken me by surprise.
I feel like other than Go Ahead, this might be one of his best roles yet. He definitely matches roles that emphasize on his character showing kindness and maturity (Go Ahead, The Seven Relics of Ill Omen, and this one).
As he is near his late 20s, hopefully he continues to take on more mature roles. I look forward to seeing his upcoming works!
I have to disagree with the thought that ep 23 is a mere filler. It was necessary to show the fallout of them…
Agreed, I don't think it was a filler episode either. It's healthy to see a main lead take time away from the FL to process his thoughts (although using work as an excuse). I don't think he actually properly grieved the lost of his career because for most of it he was mainly confused and despised the "FL" for not visiting him. His time away lets him reflect on his action towards the FL when they first met and also shows how much he misses her when he is gone.
Truly enjoyed going through the roller coasters of emotions with you all. Hopefully will see some of you around in future dramas!

What cracks me up was when the camera pans behind XZ and bamn all the college friends were there watching this whole thing go down?
Lol I bursted out laughing

Honestly, it's unfortunate that YR felt that way to NG, because she herself is also talented and smart, just didn't come from a rich background.
ZX on the otherhand loves being the victim. To him, it's always him that the world is against, no one else.
We've been waiting for so long and our little ships just got together.
I'm not ready to say goodbye 😭

Having the audacity to blame the FL for them not working out.. haha
Haha the karaoke scene has me cracking up. Like what right does this boy think he has to feel regretful?
