Love this drama so far, it's a lot more interesting and complex than Unveil: Jadewind, which I had a hard time…
I haven't tried this drama yet, still finishing up on Unveil: Jadewind. Agreed that Unveil is not that interesting/complex, nothing new. Lol I can pretty much guess who the villains/criminals of each case were the moment they showed up on screen. It's unfortunate that this is what they went with with such star-studded MLs. They should have picked a different genre that can showcase their talents more.
"I hate it when drama characters narrate everything with internal dialog" Finally! Someone talks like…
Was literally thinking of How Dare You. Although I loved the leads and they were hyping the drama up before releasing, I was so confused on which was the inner monologue and which was said out loud. It doesn't really help that all the characters are dub which makes it extra confusing to follow along. I had to drop the drama for the sake of my sanity.
What's the novel like, I don't mind spoilers. I heard the story is short and the plot's thin so they expect adaptations.…
I read the book about a month or two ago, and I don't remember any super power. Lol I have no idea what the production team is thinking. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

OMG I totally love her internal monologue. I find her character really refreshing and adorable. Yes, she has a lot of flaws, and most of the time, she is unreasonable. She could have gotten a lot of her misunderstandings resolved if she only talked to the guy, but knowing their dynamic, I understand why she didn't. I do like how their issues get resolved fairly quickly. Half of the time, CS is looking at her like "Girl, how did you even come to that conclusion? What's going on in your mind?". Lol he'll just give our girlie something expensive and she'll be smiling over the moon.
LOVED THE NOVEL! now worried about the execution 😫 not a dig to the actors, i usually wait till the show airs…
For real. The trailer threw me in for a loop. I was like why are his eyes changing. Is this fantasy? Since when? Haha as the book is totally not like that.
Understandable. It took me about 5ish episodes to like the drama. It was really rough, and I had to drag myself…
Exactly!
Like you said, I have been seeing this a lot with recent dramas. Unfortunately, the first couple of episodes are extremely important for new viewers. With balancing life and entertainment, no one has a lot of time to sit around and wait for a drama to get better.
Those who stayed around are viewers who are fans of the leads.
It would be a shame for a drama to lose viewers just because the first couple of episodes sucked,
when I saw the trailers and the main characters, I was very excited about the story and the cast. However, when…
Understandable. It took me about 5ish episodes to like the drama. It was really rough, and I had to drag myself through it. I stayed mainly for the main leads. The drama started off really weird. I know that some stuff isn't explained on purpose because it's for the plot, but when nothing is explain it's hard for viewers to relate.
Also, because the casts are dubbed, it's hard for me to follow what is being said out loud and what is a monologue.
I also find some of the humor off. There are scenes where the viewers are told that something is funny, while it wasn't necessarily as funny. The viewers should find it naturally funny without all the visual and audio cues that are being projected every other 2 minutes.
As long as they didn't change the plot you will find out in the second half of the story :)
Me too!! But sometimes the spoilers come for me themselves. Lol I didn't ask for it. Although I do appreciate you not telling me. I'm expecting a lot now

Ohhh ok I'm excited now. Hopefully it's better than what I expected. Why did I feel like XHB has gone through this before? Maybe that's why he knows what they are supposed to act like?
Girl go watch My Journey to You, everyone (especially me) was drooling over him there
He was also amazing in A Familiar Stranger. That's how I got introduced to him but MJTY is where he really shines. Giving us the hot, protective, and dominating vibes 🤤
I'm guessing they're most likely going to change a lot in the drama and give him more screen time.
Although I really like his character in the book. Hopefully, they don't make him become the stereotypical SML that's obsessed with the FL.

Why is he changing the original script?
I swear, sometimes the editing of this drama is all over the place.
