Just because we have the ability to hear things doesn’t mean we always do. At the library he was listening for the rescue, at the hospital he was distracted with messaging SSY. Same for smell, ever had something burning but you’re distracted and don’t smell it until suddenly you do, then you wonder how you didn’t smell it immediately.

The novel doesn't really explain why Hua Yong is an Enigma, I guess it just happens. But Hua Yong says that he was fated to be an Enigma so he can possess S tier Alpha Sheng Shaoyou, that his gland was born for SSY, but that's romantic drivel he likes to spout.
This episode was so great, worth the wait. So many scenes to choose from I can't pick a favorite. I'm going to give a special mention to the scene with Sheng's ex just out of the sheer unexpectedness of it. It's nice when they can surprise us novel readers with something new, and it was really entertaining.

Welcome, I don't have any groups sorry, but I did read the novel, I can answer any question you have. Yes, Shen Wenlang was drunk and in a pheromone haze and Gao Tu was in heat when they had sex, neither wanted that to happen. Gao Tu knows it was Shen Wenlang, but Wenlang does not know it was Gao Tu, it makes more sense in the novel, just go with it. We've had enough of the "but it was so bright, why don't they know" discussions, it was meant to be pitch dark.
I'm loving it too, it's a light fluffy drama, like candy.
And it's so short too, bingable. Anybody have any suggestions of a drama similar to this? I think it's similar in tone to the first half of Love in the Air, not the second half where it gets heavy.
