OMG guys that was great, I love how they're so lovey-dovey. Tuo has so many abandonment issues, but he's trying to work through them, and Junxi is being so brave, they're both making strides. They're the kinds of characters that make you believe in their love.

I don’t remember what scene in ep 3 you mean, and if Hua Yong’s motivations are still a mystery to you I don’t want to spoil it, its more fun to watch it. But if you have more questions and don’t mind spoilers let me know.

The aura is their pheromones, they come out of their wrists and the back of the neck. They can choose to pump out oppressive pheromones to attack, soothing pheromones to calm or relive pain, or seductive pheromones. The mark is called a light totem that the powerful ones have, it’s a visual representation of their power I guess.

I see a lot of this "I have a right to state my opinion" thing in this comment section, like of course you do? How is people replying infringing on this right in any way? It might have something to do with the language that is lost in translation, I don't know. But to me it sounds like Hua Yong has a kink for calling him Mr. Sheng. Or it might be part of the submissive omega persona.

I don't know what previous comment meant, but he does find out from Hua Yong. It's after the doctor tells him he's pregnant and Sheng asks Hua Yong "What are you..."

I do agree with you on that, but he's also very aware that he's putty in Sheng's hands as you put it.

To be honest, I don't think that Hua Yong thinks he's in control of everything. In his inside monologue he's very earnest about doing whatever it takes to get Sheng, like a Valedictorian doing all he can to get into Harvard, he works hard, does extra credit, but it's not a sure thing.

Sheng is not pregnant yet, although something dangerous does happen to him after he gets pregnant.

While discussing the show and Hua Yong's crazy antics I found myself saying "So what if he had no chance with Sheng Shaoyou as an Enigma, that's no justification to pretend to be a different gender, nobody dies of one sided love....oh wait" It made me realize as I was saying it that in this universe that can literally happen. Every few months Hua Yong tears himself apart, he almost died during his second to last rut, and is in immeasurable pain due to his mate seeking syndrome. I admit it made me think and sympathize with him a little more, but I still maintain that Shaoyou is his own person and has the right to choose who he wants to be with. He shouldn't have to sacrifice himself just because Hua Yong can't live without him. It's a good thing that ultimately they both end up falling in love with each other, otherwise this would be a really sad show which is not my vibe.

Both things can be true. No offense to you, but I think you’re fighting ghosts right now. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone here that doesn’t agree that Hua Yong is manipulative and selfish. The question is whether you’re along for the ride. And I find it frankly unnecessary to message every person individually with the same message. We get it, you don’t like Hua Yong. Do try to remember that it’s a show, I already said I’m just here for the lols.

The one with the long hair? That’s an omega cousin that he gets along with, or at least better than his other family. In the novel he was following Hua Yong because he wanted to see him and get help with choosing a gift for his Alpha wife, and he was accidentally there when SSY’s brother attacked them. He helped Hua Yong catch the brother because he’s an omega badass.

I agree with you, both those scenes were some of my favorites, hard to choose with this episode though. I’m just here for the lols.

To be honest I also wanted him to do literally anything else other than what he did, they chose the most frustrating path for this couple, but I do understand his thought process.

He was afraid Wenlang would make him have an abortion, it’s the number 1 reason he ran.
