My favorite was after SSY woke up, that whole morning, how cute they acted with each other, HY taking care of SSY, even how tsundere SSY is now.

I loved the episode. I can do without the father subplot and I think there's no time for it, but it could still happen.

This is what I was referring to a couple of days ago when I replied to you, what SSY sees in HY before and after the reveal, and how HY acts towards SSY before and after. The simple answer is that HY is less different where SSY is concerned than I had expected. The submissive Omega persona is not entirely fake. A lot of the things SSY fell for about HY are real. The beautiful face, soft voice, gentle expression are real towards SSY. Even the orchid smell is the same, just not omega. The way HY wants to take care of SSY, the cooking, baking, choosing his clothes, basically the perfect wife, is genuine. His behavior changes surprisingly little after the reveal. It's not like all of a sudden HY wants to act domineering and Alpah-like towards SSY, not even like the Enigma he is towards everyone else. Of course some things change, the biggest adjustment SSY has to make after getting over the lies is that in the bedroom the Enigma part of HY does come out. SSY likes it, but it's an adjustment in perspective and the way he used to view himself. I hope this answers your question.

There's no official translation but the one I read in English is really good, I assume you would be able to read it if you're interested? Now we can only hope that the drama does justice to the novel in that regard.

I'm kind of conflicted in what to share, I wouldn't consider this major spoilers but you can still stop reading. HY is definitely delulu lol, and planning the wedding before SSY has said yes. But he never planned to subdue and force SSY to accept him, not out of any moral objections, but because it would not work. HY has studied SSY for years, he knows SSY responds to softness not force.

I definitely would not, but my tolerance for BS in real life is on the floor and in fiction is sky high, so it's hardly comparable. I also had a hard time with their relationship while watching the drama so I don't blame you. I started shipping them more after reading the novel, but I don't want to spoil it if you haven't. It's to do with what SSY sees in HY before and after the reveal, and also how HY acts towards SSY before and after that made me believe in them.

Funny I see you here too, I'm definitely afraid of ghosts, I'm trying to decide whether to watch this.

That's fair, different tastes and all that. But what's funny is that the slow burn BLs often seem unrealistic to me. I'm like, writers have you met teenage boys? lol. They're full of hormones and not known for thinking things through.

I don't think it's necessarily worse in terms of sexuality, SSY's reaction to HY being an "Alpha" was basically "I'm not gay, I don't like Alphas". When he finds out Hua Yong is an Enigma is like finding out his lover is a mythical being. Imagine you find out your lover is a dragon shifter lol. In the first episode SSY says Enigmas are made up by the media, so he doesn't believe they exist.

I'm not going to claim I'm not "Hua biased" because this character has given me too much entertainment lol, but this is not Hua Yong's ideal situation. He tells SSY he wanted to save the marking until after the wedding and even wrote a whole long essay about it and too bad he can't read it to SSY right now. A lot of people and SSY think that Hua Yong has more control than he actually does, a lot of his plans have been ruined by outside forces. At least the main plan of making SSY so much in love he couldn't bear to be apart for long worked out.

I've heard this is a good show, but I don't do horror. Guys, is it very scary, will it give me nightmares? I was ok with an old KDrama called The Master's Sun, it was only a little bit scary. If someone has seen both, is it like that?

I started it when they had aired 6 eps, binging and then having to wait sucks, but I'm still glad I got into it before it's all done to enjoy the anticipation and the community.
