This will be a VERY UNPOPULAR opinion but i hate Aoi. Brilliance doesn’t excuse bitchiness, and there’s a clear difference between being a girl boss and being plain rude (which she is for the most part of the first half of the story). Idk if it’s the actress portrayal or if the script was purposely written that way. But it made me deeply rooting for Arata-Yuko. Though I really don’t quite get why Yuko purposely put herself in a hard situation coz girl there’s plenty of other company to work for!!
TakeRyoma’s acting in this is phenomenal though. Would have been my top fav works of his if not for the ending.
And before anyone come at me i already said i know this is an unpopular opinion.
It's only available on Viki. I'm in North America and it works for me. Hope you can make it work with VPN, it's…
Thanks! I tried the US and it works! Just finished the drama yesterday and it definitely lives up to the praises and hype that it was getting among the jdrama watchers community!!
Which streaming platform are you guys watching this other than Viki? If only Viki, which region are you from? I think it’s geoblocked in my country so i might need to use VPN but I really wanna watch it for TakeRyoma!!
Please let there be a sequel!! Maybe 1-2 years from now once the manga has more chapters or is completed. The manga is still ongoing and only up to Vol 8 currently that’s why it had to end halfway.
Since this live action is only 5 Eps, before I start watching i need to know did it completed an arc or ended on a cliffhanger coz otherwise i would need a Season 2!!
This show was already good from the beginning, but starting EP28 onwards it’s just SO AMAZING!!!
Often we see shows that started off good then got off track, but this drama honestly gets better with every episode. I can’t stress this enough everybody needs to give it a try.
I think his part in the drama is over. It’s now focusing on YiYi, she said at the end of ep 11 that her aunt…
I see. Thanks for the confirmation! Since he only appears in the first arc and that itself is a complete story, looks like I’ll have no problem jumping into the drama.
Ep22 was really sad. But i also love how it shows Jin’an genuine friendship with Li Shuang’s friends by how affected he was with [spoiler]’s death. Like, to him this person wasn’t just Li Shuang’s people, they’re his friends too.
Jin’An in EP17-18 is so petty AND EMBARASSINGGG in front of the Crown Prince 😭 like boyyyy get up and have some self-preservation plsss!! (can’t believe this is the same actor who played Shangjue and Xiao dudu. Cheng Lei you’re so a good actor)
i like the drama's ending more...glad they didn’t go along with it
Same! I like the drama’s ending more bc it’s more emotional. But I’m glad that they shared it bc it practically CONFIRMS that the Wei Jiao we see is meant to be the Sima Jiao who retains his memory. :)
TakeRyoma’s acting in this is phenomenal though. Would have been my top fav works of his if not for the ending.
