For someone who hates this drama so much you seem to be quite invested in coming back here spreading your nasty and pointless opinion. Is there someone in this drama you don't particularly like or do you just feel you have to share every inane thought and negative comment you have for this drama all the time. I saw Weaving a Tale of Love and Court Lady back to back and I did see the potential of this couple. They would be perfect in similar palace politics dramas.

JJY has a very limited range as an actress. I've finished 3 costume dramas from her and in all of them she has the same characterization and delivery. She also gives off similar vibes here. A rather dead fish and muted style of acting. The good news is she's palatable to my taste and I could look past her defects. This is unlike that other actress with an airing drama whose screaming and campy acting really irritates the hell out of me. I've dropped every drama I've started from her and I never plan to watch anything from her ever again. This one meanwhile is my 4th JJY drama.

The main leads romance got zero feels. The ML is an arrogant prick. If not for PXR then I would have drop this a long time ago.

The ML really irritates me. It would have been better had he been played by a more charismatic and likeable actor because his overbearing attitude would have been more acceptable. Between the arrogant ML and the obsessive 2nd ML the FL is better off becoming a nun. I have really no interest in the main leads romance sadly.

Hopefully Jiuling's maid becomes collateral damage in the future.

Gulinazha is really pretty in costume so hopefully this materializes. Her acting needs more work but in terms of visuals few FL's can match her beauty. I think she and Xu Kai would match very well.

Angelababy is not a talented actress but she's a great spokesperson and representative which is why I follow her as do many people. Your last comment though is just plain vitriolic, uninformed and presumptuous.

Your even more pathetic than the Angelababy fan your hating on. She is a very popular star in China and internationally as well. It's natural that she has fans that will defend her. She does not need to pay some uneducated hater like yourself for that.

The styling is hilarious. I don't remember people in the 90's where I'm from dressing like that.

Still not sold on the ML. When PXR was announced I was hoping for someone like Alen Fang or Oliver Chen again.

ML voice actor sounds like the same one who voiced Qianlong in Ruyi.

This is just a bad synopsis overall. So wrong on many levels. At least the story is good and I'm just glad to see PXR once again.

This one would be more enjoyable if the ML weren't such a doormat to that eunuch. It's crazy how many times he yields power to that usurper.

I'm not feeling the ML. I've only watched him in two dramas where he played the antagonists and I absolutely hated him there. Just not a very sympathetic character or persona. Anyway I will be watching this because of PXR. The girl is one charismatic performer.

Overrated drama. And I don't even say that a lot. Total waste of time. Zero chemistry from the leads and ML has to be one of the most high strung characters I've seen.

This amount of episodes are meant for low budget web dramas. This type of plot should be 32 episodes minimum. I think the sweet spot for most Chinese dramas is around 35 episodes. Even some 40+ dramas would suffer had they'd been cut and edited heavily.
