The FL's character is so incredibly one dimensional. She might feign indifference and aloofness from the cares of the world but for her silly and immature lover you can bet she'd turn the world upside down. In simple terms her world pretty much revolves around ML. Her siblings which were entrusted to her are facing trials and making some questionable decisions and yet she could care less what happens to them as long as she could go on a weekend rendezvous with her lover. The drama really does try to portray them as this great love but they just come off as 2 immature brats that want their way all the time.

Goodness me that Man Tou sister is one of the most annoying characters I've ever come across.

Good to see Ren Jia Lun in a modern drama. The character is obviously not original. It seems every ML in China do eventually play a CEO.

Drop it at first episode, did not expect the FL to be a petty thief. It was obvious her endgame there was just to scam the groom's family of money to ransom her brother.

I was surprised by the trailer. Did not expect the drama to have comedic tone to it. It look like Wang Lu from Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain was transported to this drama.

They really should have thought of a better plot that exposes Wengu's true identity, instead they just took a pointless accusation and some dubious investigations and now apparently he is a suspect. I would think a High Immortal's fall from grace should be a lot more convincing than being cause by a silly scheme of petty creatures and mortals. He is a High Immortal after all, the power dynamics in this drama are very odd.

Have you read the novel? That makes sense when you consider it although I would never in a million years be able to piece together anything close to that. Your theory is a lot more plausible than what I had in mind.

The production quality of this one is so much better than other supposedly higher budget dramas with A-list actors like that train wreck Legend of Fei. The sets look realistic and well made and there are nice natural scenery. The pacing is great. I was worried they will not be able to fit the story in 32 episodes but I think they'll be able to base on how the story is developing.

I actually followed this drama up until episode 15 nearly a year ago and then put it on hold because Irene's character bugged me. I've been egging myself to finish this one and I've finally completed it after nearly a year. A very good college and sports drama.

Good thing they shaved several years of their real age in drama. Fifteen years is the limit for me after that it's pretty much mom level. Find Yourself did the age gap romance very well.

My dream pair from Legend of Chusen has come full circle. They are finally together.

Everytime FL appeared I thought she look like a passerby that showed up selling trinkets. She is always dress and made up like a flower girl when she's the princess consort of the second most powerful man in the empire. One thing that annoys me more than her pedestrian outfits is her not knowing how to hold her position and constantly need ML to defend her. I'm pretty sure with her position and the backing of the empress dowager she'd be able to stand up to her mother in law and especially to that childhood friend that pesters her husband.

Goodness, I highly doubt Zhao Lusi is at the level to complain being only second lead to Dilraba. Ditto to her fans that think after one hit web drama she is entitled to pick and choose projects as she pleases.

Great xianxia drama. It got a bit of Ashes of Love and Love and Redemption vibe going. Surprisingly good production level and the plot is moving logically. Overall a very enjoyable show thus far. This is my favorite fantasy drama of the year along with Douluo Continent. I just don't know how they are going to fit all the subplots and resolve this in 32 episodes. Maybe there is a season 2.

Xuanwu Gate Incident is a historical event. Li Shimin lead a coup that led to the death of the crown prince. He also forced his father to step down. This drama is a fictionalized account of the events of that period.

The second couple was cute when it started until their weak relationship naturally grew apart. I actually like them in the beginning but got tired of their stale and pointless relationship. At least the main leads were still in love with each other despite the silly trope device inserted to warrant a good ending. I fail to see that kind of logic should apply to the second couple. I feel like they were just going in circles getting nowhere. They were irritating and a waste of space in the last third of the drama.

The separation arc was the writers having zero creativity. It was a chore finishing it after that. Not very well thought out IMO. It made the FL look like someone who just run away from her problems and responsibilities, leaving ML behind. The second couple was cute in the beginning but their relationship in the second part already look dead in the water and it had long been stale. Over all the first half was enjoyable. Afterwards it just turn into a corporate revenge drama, the FL going crazy and developing a wrong idea of sacrifice and of course the inevitable reunion. If not for the kid then getting back together should have been shelved.

How incredibly small time, petty and cringy. I would never expect to read such tripe and shallowness but here we are.

This will probably air after You're My Hero. I was more excited for this one but YAMH has been great so far. I think Li Qin and Johnny look like a well matched couple.

LOL Another one who sees all the world through the tinted lenses of modern ideals. Polygamy was standard practice among the nobility and royalty of China for most of its history even until recently. I don't know about you but almost every single palace drama is that way. Imagine my surprise seeing someone losing their mind because ML is bedding every pretty girl he sees. Harem dramas are like that just in case you don't know. There is no us against the world, Romeo and Juliet, die for each other kind of love. That's just unrealistic and honestly ridiculous in the context of the period.
