The sets are so cheap looking. All those fake trees and sceneries. They really should have done better IMO. Unfortunately the production quality is not very high. I expected quality cinematography because of the casts and how anticipated this show is.

Joseph Zeng is a great Wu Xie. He has very similar interpretation to Neo Hou in Lost Tomb 2. I would have preferred a different actress playing Ah Ning, the actress looks so green. I have watched Xhu Yi Long's version(first part) but couldn't stand the plot however I love Huang Jun Jie as Zhang Qi Ling. Pure hotness! I would have loved to see him reprise this role with a younger Wu Xie. He and Neo or Joseph would make excellent bromance material.

I would have preferred if Yibo had dubbed his part instead of using another voice actor that doesn't resemble at all to his previous drama which was voiced by a famous voice actor. It's really jarring to see these actors sound completely different from one drama to another.

First 10 episodes in and it's actually pretty light affair, the leads certainly do not have sibling vibes. They are more like best friends that ended up living together in one roof. FL mom is a pain though. I'm sorry the charade has gone on for so long, it's completely ridiculous. It' about time they announce her real son is dead.

The synopsis just pretty much spoiled the whole story. Another tragic romance in store for PXR but this time it's her lover who meets tragic end. I think 30 episodes isn't enough to flesh this story out. This one should be minimum 35 episodes.

How old did FL mom gave birth to her since she is clearly not even 40. Her husband looks like he could be her dad also. Just absurd casting.

I was hoping for a loveline between FL and Guard Zhong. I am a sucker for hate to love story and their relationship is ripe for it. The plot seem to hint that way in the beginning. I prefer him to both of the ML's.

One of those that somehow people convinced themselves to be extremely good. A rarer thing than underrated dramas but it does happen. I managed to watch 3 episodes the first time and dropped it for a long time because of the ML. The second time I was able to finished 14 episodes. I don't intend to pick this up again. Xiao Zhan's presence possibly contributed a big chunk otherwise I would never understand why this is rated so high.

Where does Cheng Xiao buy her potions that she gets to be paired up with Arthur Chen, Xu Kai and Leo Luo when she's only starting her acting career. I was hoping to see Leo with Dilraba.

This sounds just like her previous drama with Ray Ma. Seriously one adopted siblings romance drama is more than enough in a career. Probably gonna watch this one because I haven't seen a single Bai Jing Ting drama.

The FL is just so outrageous, foolish and obstinate. Her cute acting and her stupid antics got tiring quickly. She literally does everything on a whim without thinking of consequences. She'd long be dead without people constantly covering for her. ML isn't better, he is petty and pretty much thinks only of the FL and nothing else. Unbelievably arrogant and rude. I can understand his apprehension toward his brother but I find his treatment of his adopted mother plain abominable. This drama is pretty much on the borderline of what I consider trash. I've watched far ttoo many episodes to drop this but frankly this is a waste of time. The only thing keeping me from watching this is the awesome OST in the beginning.

I could watch this base solely on the fact it's a Xing Zhao Lin modern drama. I've seen only episodes of Eternal Love and Marry Me and I do not like his look in costume. He actually looks plain in historical setting but put him in a suit and it's another story. He was super handsome in Lucky's First Love and Your My Destiny.

Sadly for a therapist you don't seem to have much control of yourself or your emotions. People have free will you know, it seems a lot of the intellectual elite of mostly liberal persuasion seem to have a problem when people aren't so fond of their behavior and their latest social experiments.

Outside of Western Europe, North East Coast of the US and the Pacific coast of California to B.C. Canada most of the world are still very old school minded. You have to be living under a rock in San Francisco to be that presumptuous and ignorant to draw that conclusion.

The bromance part was sort of fanservice to viewers who like this genre. You took that too seriously since this was never meant to be a bl drama. This is sort of like the bromance in Once Upon A Time in Lingjian Mountain.

Nothing more annoying than a low info poster bringing up politics. Learn to shut up and know where bringing up those things are appropriate.

Then I might go back on my word and watch a ZLS lead drama. Song Wei Long has such a handsome face and he is particularly eye candy in costume dramas. He was so ethereal in In a Class of Her Own.
