i think people are refusing to accept the fact that xyl can act but not just to their standand of acting. if he cannot act, the director won’t choose him as a ML. any drama had their own auditions and preparations before it begin filming. the actors & actress were told to act in certain way, to display what they can display based on the situation and circumstances. so far, his acting was inline with his character, idk what kind of emotions they what him to display or emote. what part of muscle face he need to move? anyone pls enlighten me.

i watched the interview of xin yunlai talking about his role in the drama. he said, in the set, everyone was quiet and all focus on memorising the script. there’s no huhu haha because the drama itself was very depressing, the vibes as a whole. and when the host asked about his acting, what’s the challenges needed to shape his role, he said, his character is a serious person, he cant show true thoughts and cant display too many expressions.

exactly. i shared the same sentiments with you. though i love the romance in here, but cant help to agree that the first half of the story is quite annoying because of the ML. he’s a judge but lacking sense in understanding simple hints given by the FL. and yeah, the mother got too easy at the end. everyone forgiven her when in fact, she did a lot of damaged especially to the first wife. the scene of the bribe was so stupid but i guess, we should accepted that this drama overflowing with flaws. it’s far from perfect but at least the FL is a good actress.

it’s so refreshing to watch this drama because i love the way FL being all flirty when it comes to the ML. and yaya’s acting so convincing i cant help giggling and rooting for their happiness.

a masterpiece! simply a GEM that i’ll remember for a very long time.

yeah, the thing is people will keep complaining regardless. If the story made hanyan falling in love quickly, they will say she forgot her mission to revenge. she ungrateful, forgetful and stuff. for me, so far, nothing out of her character, she still inline with her revenge mission.

agreed! i rather love this to become a slow burn romance, which they focus more on their allies, their mission for revenge. i love the intesity of their dynamic as partners. like the way they burned the chamber together as if nothing could stop them at this point!

what’s wrong with this fu yunxi’s aunt? the household seems fine in the first half of the drama— with them being a dynamic kind family. and now, after married, the aunt become suddenly annoying. i dont mind if she tried to ‘test’ hanyan, to see if she can able to pass certain ‘tests’ to be a good housewife but as to go far to taint her reputation is completely unnecessary. gosh, she’s annoying. why so many evil women?
