i cant seem to forget the iconic master mu qingge. julia xiang is so perfect for this role. her smiles, her body language, her tears, her ah shui, were all so perfect. a very good xianxia drama to start 2025 with!

it’s heart wrenching to see the daughter-mother relationship. i couldn’t even blame both of them for the fact that they chose to seek revenge in different ways. the madam doesn’t want to let her daughter knows what happened in the past, so she won’t be implicated knowing further. her daughter tried her best to save the family, so the only only home (her mother) could be saved as well. but doing so, she failed her mother’s long planning of plan. she’s so stubborn like her mother, but her reason is valid. for many years, she been stripped away the love of the family, though her mother is cruel to her, she knows it was done out of love, to protect her. hence, in return, she fight to protect her mother.

arghh, all the scenes were well executed. im rooting for them both. I felt the mother desperation and defeat, also feel sad for the fact that hanyan far from knowing the truth, hence she did what she thinks right.

it’s a sad ending. but there’s one special episode that indicates it’s a hopeful ending.

hi honey! wah, of course we need to be here. it’s our dudu drama. haa, ikr! so many drama to watch and so many things need to be done in life. oh, still not that much! we can catch up soon. im honestly excited because the plot is good and cdl been receiving a lot of good comments for her acting in this drama. so proud of her!

urgh, im so busy with work. but had to constantly checking the mdl if i was left too behind. what are the current episode right now? i needed to watch again ep6 because the auto subbing was incorrect (i mostly read nonsense things on screen 😂). hopefully, i manage to catch up later soon.

haters gonna hate, that’s their job. in every drama, there’s always hate thrown to either FL or ML. so that’s fine. for me, as long as the drama keep mantaining its good storylines, the acting is good, i will give it a good rating too.

ahh, i got that. many could not able to finish it till the end. for me, it got the same vibes like this in term of the ending. and because im a sucker for SE and angst, it’s truly my type of drama.

it’s usually like that for the new drama. the rating will keep fluctuating and stabilize at one point 😂

it’s just a rumour made up by the ‘fraud’ taoist. that rumour destroyed the girl’s
life, because she carried the stigma of barefoot ghost for 17 years. she was accused as barefoot ghost because after she was born her grandad died, hence she was sent away to danzhou.

ML certainly knows FL better and what has happened to her in the past. all the tease and provoking only means to toughened her up and another way of him to flirt with her. man is so dull when it comes to flirting; he scares the shit out of her 😂
