started watching this somewhere in 2024. finally able to finish it today. love the balance in the drama, the fantasy, the slice of life, the love. i cried here and there, as expected from our actress, Park Boyoung.

but i must say, the reason i stayed watching till the end because of the second couple. probably because it’s realistic and do really happened in our daily lives. applaud for lee soo hyuk & shin do hyun, they not just serving their looks but also their talents. i love their story arc, i love how Na Ji Na potrayed the growth as a girl to woman (who stuck and stay in the past, waiting for her love to comeback) only to realise she loved the version of that 18 years old guy back then (not the current version of him).

overall, it was a nice fantasy drama. 8/10.

we need more obsessed female villain with a tragic background story like princess wanning. i swear i still mourned for her until now, and truly my heart aches for her. one of the best fl villains in historical drama.

our da yao will forever be remembered!

samee. i like tianqi too, he’s a playful deity, free spirited. but i understand if they didn’t follow the exact demeanour of him. they even changed their name (due to censorship), cant expect more for the rest of the characterisation.

ahaa, i see. i watched ALP back then, but i swear i forgot almost everything about the drama. if it’s true, then it’s good for her. at least, she still got the hope to stay in the plot a lil bit longer 🤧

as expected from queen Bai Lu, any emotional scenes she slayed hard. the moment she shed her tears, my tears flow as well. she need to collaborate with Cheng Yi at least once, i need to see them take turns crying beautifully because both are so good at the tears department. and i hope i still alive to witness the collab between these two.

is there any theory regarding Bai Xi as a fellow human yet when Jin Yao attacked her twice with his power, she still alive?! i think it’s because of Jing Yuan saved her, but is there any theory other than this? i do really hope Fu Ling & Chong Zhao both can live happily at the end. she teach their kids swordsmanship, and him teach the kids how to make the bun 😭

it’s romance between Zhu Yan & Wen Xiao. no, they’re not the same person. the one that zhu yan wanted to love and protect is wen xiao. In early stage, yes, should be concerned about the tag. but everything reveals to a good cause in the end. just be concerned with your heart. do everything you can do so your heart can be prepared for the ending. enjoy watching!

Hou Minghao as Zhou Yuan Zhou/Zhu Yan hits different. i need more da yao in xianxia like him; elegance, charismatic, powerful and playful in attractive way. he easily bring the character to life. Zhu Yan/ZYZ lived inside HMH. he’s simply the greatest da yao i’ve ever witnessed in cdrama land. i missed this great da yao terribly. please reunite him with his goddess wen xiao in another drama. i’ll wait patiently ;’)

watching this show and this season for the first time. i didn’t read the comments and enter the game with a clean slate. i must say that im shocked to find out that Shin Seul-ki is the same person who acted in the pyramid game. and even more shocked to know that Dex gain his popularity after this show (i came to know Dex when he appear in RM— and from there, i always wonder where this guy come from, because i obviously never seen him anywhere on screen).

anyway, it was an awful show and im so shocked for how awful it was. it’s so different than the other dating shows that i’ve watched so far. the concept is rather boring for me. the game can be brutal sometimes and it’s SO PERSONAL (im scared for my life) and the paradise moments seems awkward for most of the participants. you put two opposite gender together in one room where they just know each other for merely 2-8 days, that’s insanely AWKWARD.

i must say, Se Jun is the real mvp. i love how gentleman he was— unbothered yet friendly and keep being respectful to everyone. he’s a walking green forest and thanks to So E for finally choosing not to settle for less. i truly root for these two friendship.

Nadine and Se Jeong truly deserved better and all this guys just aint it. I love Han Bin too, he’s so cool and far more better than the rest of the guys (exc Se Jun).

I cringed when Shin Seul-Ki choose her final selection. we all can see as bright as a day she’s down so bad for Dex aka Jin Young. just by looking at him she shines her brightest smile and she keep this flirty body language when she’s near him and her not choosing him is kinda weird and i dare say it’s a matter of pride left in her that won’t give him the satisfaction of knowing she really liked him. but whatever the case, i think cjw deserved better than being the second option. even panellists can see that seul ki is a diff person when she’s with dex. but regardless, her life her choice. if she decided to pick someone who likes her, so be it then. just it seems weird and cringe to me.
