and i felt misery knowing it always took someone’s sacrifice to fix thing, when the story itself revolves around those who’ve the power to save and protect all this weak creatures. like eh, why? 🥲
the story arc in jingyou mountain is so long, even bai shou get twice the vision of the contemplation. it’s like they’re running in circle with misunderstanding, killing each other etc. fu ling you arent even tired is it? it’s gonna be the chase, hunt and run between the cold spring palace vs bright moon palace along with bai shou just with different settings.
currently at ep20, i cant believed they decided to sacrifice mu jiu. as if one sacrifice is not enough for the tree, they decided even to let our baby mu jiu died leaving tian hou. so disappointed because i thought the next contemplation going to save the emotion tree, but ended up it’s mu jiu that take out the weak water stone and gave it to bai shou. i always thought mu jiu gonna live happily with tian hou. ugly crying for this ep and knowing tian hou already know that mu jiu gonna sacrifices himself adding more pain in my heart. they truly deserved better 😭😭

yeah, i binge watching 6 eps yesterday. so i am a bit too late to the party hehe. exactly, love a good villain, adding more fire to the story, especially a character driven like Fu Ling.
Dai Luwa is so good in portraying the villain, Fu Ling. she might become another villain that i hated other than ye binchang. truly hated yet impressed with her guts. smart, cunning and seductive. another superb perfomance for the villainess roles. it’s indeed difficult task to be a main lead, but it took extra efforts & hard work to be a good villain. kudos Fu Ling!

you can’t expect someone who just lost his father, watching her father being treated harshly and willing to sacrifice his own life because he think he failed to save his people, could think rationally at that time.
she’s so devastated by the fact none of those power exists, none of them could save his father and even become the cause of his father’s dead. and he’s being there, at the grave, truly at the wrong timing. like she said, she doesn’t want him to disturb her father’s peace and he insists to take her away from there. so— i guess, he’s kind of deserved it.
