okay, some confusion here for me. how su yishui become a demon child? is it because he was injected by his father with the spirit spring? or because he’s born with the resentment & anger in his heart? because like the eternal said, the demon child should be killed so it won’t bring catastrophe to the world, and is it meant even now su yishui is still a demon child? — even after mu qingge had managed to absorb all the spirit spring from sys body?
hopefully this drama will open up many opportunities for both deng wei and julia xiang in the future. i can see lots of potential from these two. love FL’s acting, she’s so great in portraying two roles, badass Mu Qingge just slayed hard. and bubbly & innocent Ranran just tug at my heart. she definitely going to shine brighter in the future.
and finally, a good script brings justice to deng wei’s talents. i’ve seen him a lot playing an innocent kind guy with a stoic expression and he getting backlashes by it. here’s definitely a more challenging role for him and he’s improving much better. thank you director Yin Tao for believing in his talents.

oh words! truly in the world where we can be anything, let’s be kind. we need more of Mu Qingge who discriminate no one, expect the unimpressive Wei Jiu 😂 and always trying her best to help everyone in need.
No way, love and redemption its one of my favorite dramas, no wonder i got addicted to this one in the first episode…
ikr. same. when i watched it, i really can feel the semblance of many parts, be it cgis, the right angsty scenes, i know it by heart of how close it be with the l&r. and i checked the director mdl profile, there, there, it’s really true.
“I told you not to close the door, we should leave it open for Shui. It’s windy and pouring rain. Go open the door.” — Simple gesture of just leaving the door open can warm someone’s heart and make them feel they belong right there.
Master Mu Qingge act of kindness feels like a light at the end of the tunnel for Su Yishui. I cried like baby at that scene.
i bet we’re in the good hands because this drama was produced by Yin Tao. he directed one of the GOAT xianxia drama out there (Love & Redemption). we can expect gallons of spitting blood, angsty moments, badass FL, darker ML, ‘i’ll die for you’ troupe and i guess a proper closure too. oh, cheers!
I like Deng Wei but I think maybe a prettier actress was better suited. not sure if I should watch it.
Julia Xiang is pretty. Try to watch one episode, then you can decide it. I started it yesterday and managed to finish 10 episodes, and now im obsessed. you’ll grow fond of the FL, she’s so badass & smart!

i love how powerful both of our ML & FL. she gave him the feeling of ‘home’ and he wants to protect the mortal world with her in it. and the fact that, we all know that both Ranran & Mu Qingge will never put the blame on Shu Yishui regardless of what happened. im crying our master mu qingge is so precious 😭
i am late to the party. just starting this drama today and currently at ep5, and wow im speechless for how good it is. It’s my first time watching the FL’s acting, first episode could not convinced me, but second to the current ep make me fall in love with her. she’s so dang good as master Mu Qingge, and there’s a lot of comedic scenes as well as angsty moments. a new kind of Xianxia storyline, where they reverse the role (in past & the future), and the heaven isnt giving blessing to it 😂
am enjoying this, and i think deng wei improved his acting alot, and the script finally gives justice to his acting. i hope it will keep getting better. i think this going to be my new obsession!
