I know Bai Shuo is heartbroken about her father's death(that was really sad, and I hated bitch for escalating…
because Fan Yue did really let the things to happen exactly as it were. he’s still partially responsible for it because it’s his intention to awaken the desired stone and let bai shuo to gain the contemplation. he bring her back to the city so she can face her predestined. it’s all along part of his plan.
yeah, true. i mean, he tried hard to be funny, but it’s just not working and often looking so unnecessary and…
hi fellow audience FoF! yeah, it’s exactly me hehe. good to see you here as well. it’s my currently watching drama while waiting for the glory. so i might be here sometimes commenting too. how about you? started watching this already?
What's your opinion on this drama so far?I am stuck at ep 2. This drama certainly has more colours. What's the…
not sure how does it linked to ALP, i had watched the ALP, but didn’t notice if this story it’s the continuation of the ALP or has anything to do with it.
i love Bailu’s acting, the FL. hence, i find her acting just as usual reach my expectations or goes beyond that. she’s really great in portraying emotionally wrecking scenes as well as other scenes, and also she has great chemistry with most of her male leads. but of course, it depends on individuals on which acting they preferred to watch and fond with.
and yes, seeing this drama premise and FL characterisation, i’m sure it’s gonna be a heavy one with lots of heartbreak in between. it’s a common troupe for xianxia and even more common role for Bailu. she’s slaying this type of genre. try watching Till The End of The Moon, if you haven’t yet watching.
exactly my thought. but i think this is mostly because they want to move the plot. of course she capable of doing…
yeah, like the person in the consciousness said.. she capable doing whatever she wants if she got the power. that tells she’s definitely above everyone else, the deity herself. and this is one of her trials and tribulations, hence with her father’s dead it triggered and help her gained the contemplation. so i can that’s how they move the plot. or we can just say, she probably didn’t have much power at that time because of the blood lost, and a lil bit weak, so she couldn’t break the barrier.
In episode 5 why didn't she try to break the barrier by stabbing herself to summon the power of the desireless…
exactly my thought. but i think this is mostly because they want to move the plot. of course she capable of doing just that, but the scene just needed for her to gain that one of the desires. so, i just kind of gritted my teeth and turn a blind eye for that.
currently at ep 3; it’s crazy when the city in turmoil and chaos, these so called ‘savior’ still got time banter around here and there, especially this chong zhao. i would want to smack him so badly. but knowing his dilemma, i know this morally grey character will give me constant headaches till the end.
zhang yaqin is so underrated. i think whenever I watched any drama she’s in it, i always love her roles, and she nailed them all. so far, i only watched her costumes drama, and i love her as a FL in an ancient love song. she has this vibes, where she exudes demure, strong willed yet elegance kind of characters. and she did great as well in love of nirvana.
happy new year, peeps! looking back, FoF was the only drama i watched last year that i rated 10/10. this drama is everything to me, the comedy, the tears, the angst, the love story, the visuals fest, the values it’s portrayed, the feels it gave to me and the vibes in the comments sections (watching while its airing), it’s absolutely the things that I appreciate and missed the most.
hoping another drama as great as FoF can color my 2025. looking ahead for that. thank you, FoF and thank you all the actor and actresses in this drama.
so far i’ve watched her in
- Ashes of Love
- The Starry Love
- Moonlight Mystique
- The Long Ballad
