i dont understand people obsessing with the romance— i mean, did they even watch the drama? look at hanyan’s life, with all the depressing things happened to her, they think she still have time to think about love now? 😅

agreed with you! with all things happening, it’ll be completely understandable for her reaction and response. and she clearly said, she feared that she not going to be a good mother. even fu yunxi said to azhi, that hanyan needed some time to adapt sth like that.

i think because they don’t want to make a huge deal out of it. since hanyan knows the secret of her father, plus they know deep down hanyan didnt killed the boy, it was accidentally.. hence they didnt reported it. or perhaps, fu yunxi make a deal with hanyan’s father to keep things under control. even no one knows about hanyan’s mother death. they’re living in dangerous secret.

yes, that’s so clever the way they tried to portray the message. the physician was so clever with her answer. no need to make a thorough check up— just gotta smack some senses and the point was delivered!

gotta agreed that ep20-21 is a bit unnecessary and more like a filler. what’s so important about this deng family im not sure— perhaps it does try to send the message about the status of women during that period but okay. hopefully, by the next episode we can see more fully action packed and revenge on its track again. we have 9 episodes, that’s not so much.. too little unless they decide to air each one for one hour long.

i think he did great in here. I’ve seen him in legend of shen li, his acting just seems fine to me. some people bothered with his stoic expression, i wonder what they expect his expression would be when his character was designed to be serious, calculating and calm all the time. should he smiles wilder and smirks creepily? 😂

like okay why you continue eating? go and find the doctor— who knows you still get a chance and think about your daughter for once?! then the logic was lost and i cried along with them 😭😂😭

the acting of the supporting actor & actress really gives justice to this drama. Wen Zheng Rong did so well in her acting as a desperate mother, a lunatic even at some point. Yu En-Tai (Zhuang Shiyang) did great in his job to mask his evil heart and hide behind a facade of good and loving father. if we watched in episode 1 perhaps till episode 10, we could never guess that he’s the real villain in this drama. These two really played their role greatly, i am so satisfied with their performances.

Even the kid actress did a good job as Lingzhi. The father-daughter bond is really convincing— i thought that Xin Yun Lai daughter’s for real 😂

now her useless brother got to pay for her stupid obsession. good for her though. and the ML couldn’t care less.

out of so many evil villain fathers, zhuang shiyang is the real devil of all. i’ve watched quite many evil fathers in dramaland, this one is just irredeemable.

yeah, that’s for the divorce letter right. so, it’s just to threaten him to sign it. and it’s like part of the deal, you sign it and I won’t bother you anymore.

for me, it was just make senses. considering xi wen never cares about her husband. changan didn’t seemed to mind about him too. like they thought, when shiyang signed the divorce letter, he accepted that the marriage is over and they all ready to begin a new phase of life. no one can predict that shiyang actually gonna plan for the murder (not even me). like oh we know, he’s evil but he won’t be that evil to kill his own ex wife, her daughter’s mom.

and another thing, that could perhaps happened when you’re too eager thinking that happiness can be reached, you forgot at any moments danger can come. not even hanyan can sense this danger lurking. it’s inevitable.

real, and these people need to realise that this a drama. what gonna be the plot if the she let her mom & the family died out there. the real villain is not yet showing his fangs. plot need to be moving so we can have something to watch 😂

First, you need to understand that at first Hanyan failed her mother’s plan because she didn’t know the truth. Her mother planned everything and leave Hanyan’s without details. So, it’s unavoidable for the plan to fail. Hanyan would not let her mother died out there even if it’s means to protect her. At that time, her father treated her kindly, hiding behind a kind and loving father’s façade, so of course Hanyan will do whatever he said to save the family.

Hence, I wouldn’t blamed her for ruining her mom only chance to seek revenge on her husband. After all, Hanyan only wants to be with her mother and felt her mother’s warm and love. And now, in this latest episodes, with all things going around, i kinda just accepted it though really sad with Hanyan’s lost. The plot of revenge is back, now she got an absolute reason to keep going and do what she supposed to do to avenge. This time with her ally, her strategist, and her husband 🔥🔥
