i’ve come to realise that zhou yuanzhou is the saddest fictional character ever exists. it seems like regardless of what ifs, his fate is doom since the beginning. yes, his sacrifices will always be remembered, but there will be no possible happy ending for him to live happily like the dream he wishes so badly to have.

lord ying long and bing yi arc served as predestined foreboding to him. his fate and the history doom to be repeated. the arc merely to show him the choices that he will need to choose (but to be very honest, there’s only one option he willing to take), regardless of what circumstances it’s going to be.

sad it is? and what if wen xiao the one who sacrificed herself? there’ll be no happy ending for our da yao either. the endless cycle of malicious energy and the new baize goddess will take place, it’s always going to be repeated. and what’s the point of living if the reason for him to live is no longer there? hence, he sacrifices his life, so she can live and the people around her can live. the world she badly want to protect can exist.

like wen xiao said to bai ju;
“if i die, there’ll be a new baize goddess can take my place. but there’s only one bai jiu in this world, it cannot be replaced..”

and bai jiu replied; “but there’s only one wen xiao jie jie also in the world..”

only one wen xiao, and only one wen xiao that zyz wished to live with. and if the possibility he can cultivate his drop of blood and soul, i wonder if that’s too can be worth it? after all, all his friends left are mortal. they’re withering away with times. if someone managed to bring him back, would there be a happy ending for him too?

this drama is doom to be our heartbreak. all the hints and the foreshadowing only meant one thing, HEARTBREAK! i badly want to hug our da yao. he’s so pitiful, it hurts! 😭

saw in X a BTS of FoF where Tian Jia Rui snatched a flower and gave to CDL (shoot in the pavilion) and the whole video is about their interaction behind the scene. now, i want them to be our next couple in the next project. TJR seems so smitten over CDL. so cute. i hope zhou yuanzhou didn’t see this comment. he’ll be hella mad 🤣

sad ending is not equal to bad ending. that’s two different meanings all together. sad ending is just freaking sad, all waters from your body drained because it come out from your eyes and your nose. your heartbeat getting slow and you’re dying. you staring at walls for hours, you needed therapy to heal.

meanwhile, bad ending makes you feel you wanna throw your devices out of the window. you freaking burn with rages. eyes red shot and satan’s horns emerges from your head. you wanna hunt the director and tied him into sack and beat the pulp out of him.

and sometimes, those feelings above collide. depends which mood you’re in. now, tell me, which one are you after watching this drama?

yeah, i know. the drama surely not for everyone. im not expecting it would end that way. but cdrama always gets me you know. it full of good moments until it took turns to a bizarre tragedy.

same right here. this was the same experience i faced after watching a journey to love last year. I cant function right after watching that drama. and here i am, suffering the same pain again. cdrama need to start reviewing their ending again, i’ve been dying countless of time right after watching cdrama. the struggle is real.

i’ve been replaying the scene where wen xiao ‘first encounter’ with zhu yan in the bureau jail.
he asked her, are you not afraid of me? and wx reply: why should i scared? zyz said, im a demon. wx: i know, you’re a demon zhu yan. he’s hearing that she isn’t scared of him, already confirming that she’s the one. one that worth his sacrifices, one that worth his life.

what should i do so i can bring them back together? we are not getting enough of them— 😭

no wonder cnetz really hated him and his work. haih. too bad this drama is so good; i hope people can acknowledge it by just looking at the talents and hardwork from the actors/actresses in it.
