not a perfect drama by any means, but im emotionally drained after watching this one. i probably cried straight from ep1 to 10. woo doo hwan, what the sexiest man alive are you! and you nailed the character of hae-jo! also love character of oh heung, and i cried for him like his broken-hearted was mine 😭the scene oh heung sobbing so hard next to the shoes is my fav 🌧😭

just a hired man, who’s korean but living in US. he talked actually if you managed to watch it till the end. he’s shown as someone who’s tough outside but soft inside. and you will know the symbolism of him wearing sunglasses of you managed to watch till the end.

ahaa, so that’s how they classify ‘idol’ drama. that’s a very good explanation and information tbh. i didn’t know that until recently some people replied to me that this is an idol drama. and im a bit baffled, like which one of them is an idol 🤣 so, it turns out.. it’s a drama with beautiful people and beautiful costumes, i got it. visuals that visualising. is it this term ‘idol’ drama only applied to cdrama or kdrama as well? i needed to know so if someone mentioned it again, then i’ll know what it means.

and really, i am not someone who watched the drama because of the visuals. this happened to be at my tl in X (the first day it announced its premiered). and I decided to just watched it, and it’s my first time watching Neo Hou, and i really liked him as Zhou YuanZhou, hence my rating is really an honest rating for someone who genuinely like this drama as a whole. not as someone who was a fan of any actor/actress here.

and yes, now it kinda makes sense to me. thanks for the explanation. i love FoF and LBFAD too.

why do some people called this idol drama? can you clarify? is it because cheng xiao is an idol? because if we talking about idol drama, lgief also can be considered as one (esther yu as an idol), but the douban rating for that drama is quite high. i guess, cnetz most likely hated GJM.

this drama might not be the best in editing (some scenes missing) and some overlooking plot holes (that could have executed better). but it’s also the drama that lingers in your mind and live rent-free inside you heart. it’s the sorrowful conclusion, the lasting impression that makes most of us keep looking back and unable to move on.

lucky you guys. it’s been raining here for almost a week (monsoon rains) some places got flooded even. not to mentioned, it’s been rainy inside since FoF ended 😔

not gonna put my faith on cdrama director again. as long as they’re on screen together, i’ll be grateful enough. happy ending is an added bonus.

true. hence, i concluded, regardless of what ifs. there’ll be no happy ending for him. he just choose the best possible ending for everyone but that means, he won’t be part of it. he died sacrificing himself for people that matters the most to him. truly, my heart aches for him.
