at first i was very annoyed for the fact that they bring zhou yichen along when try to search for ao yin in that pavilion. me thought; who think this is the best idea to bring him when he’s still not proven innocent? i mean— of course people will attack him.

but then again i realised; this aim to show him what it feels like to be hated as demon. how it feels like, when people respected and loved you, and by one mistake (even if it’s not yet proven) people started to turn their back and insults you. also, this bring an honest conversation between li lun and zhou yichen. though i never expected they could have this kind of bond, where zhou yichen able to knock some senses on this pitiful demon, and li lun can feel it, deep inside his heart. boy cried. he might stomped zhou yichen, but zyc slapped him some senses where it hurts more than being stomped.

li lun tried so hard to influence zhou yichen and turn him bad, but zhou yichen last word really hits home..

“you asked me if i ever understood you. i will never understand you. but now, i understand zhou yuan zhou.”

he died and became a puppet who can protect his jie jie whenever she’s in danger.

one thing that you can’t helped questioning in this drama is the ‘what ifs’. so much bad decisions, bad mistakes happened, resulting to their ending. it was a bittersweet journey, but honestly the storyline went a bit downhill in the second half of the story. still, it’s worth watching.

General Yin Luomei remained the best character in this drama. She may drifted apart from her true self in a middle, but she redeemed herself for that. And i’m since day one, know this girl is worth remembering. and i cant praise the actress enough for her great acting as Luomei!

yeah, i saw her graduation photos. so cute and indeed, she’s like a top student during her era. kinda a girl 24hours with her books. honestly that’s okay, human are not perfect. it’s fine not to excel in everything. as long you pick up something that you like and good in it, that’s good enough.

and she’s engineering graduate right? she either become an engineer or stick to acting. dancing should be only her hobby.

she tried her best though.

hard to find anything closer like this honestly. maybe you can try watching till the end of the moon, love and redemption, legend of shen li, love between fairy and devil (if you haven’t yet watching).

all these drama got the same concept about god realm, heavenly things.

i think Chen Du Ling is quite introverted person in real life. usually, many actresses will just try to act cute, or going all out especially in reality show, or doing interviews for the sake of promoting the drama. but CDL, just being herself with so demure, feminine and angelic characteristics of her. also, i remembered in interview Neo said, his first impressions of CDL is someone really cold and quiet 🤣

girl didn’t have much battery for social life.

me good at not knowing the spoilers (either it’s true or not). any comments that mentioned the possibility of *spoilers*, i just brushed it off like a dust. after all, doesn’t matter how this drama gonna end, it’s already breaking my heart to pieces. i’ll just gonna enjoy the moment and get ‘surprised’ later on.

we’re truly the strongest soldier. imagine eagerly waiting for one episode to release, only for it to finish in 40 minutes and yet the pain it causes us lasted days, weeks and even years. this is the problem when you overly attached with the characters 🥲
